You are the production manager of the Ecosheets Plywood Company and your goal is to
maximize the profit. You have 480 sheets of gauge A and 600 sheets of gauge B for
use in this week's production. Ecosheets Plywood Company manufactures two pre
designed products, the Superior and Ordinary. Each piece of Superior requires three
sheets of gauge A and two sheets of gauge B and sells for a profit of Ph 1550. Each
piece of Ordinary, uses one sheet of gauge A and three sheets of gauge B and sells for
a profit of Ph 1050. Two machines run and each Superior product requires 2 minutes of
polishing and 40 seconds of pressing. The Ordinary product requires 1 minute of
polishing and 30 seconds of pressing. Each machine can be run at most 40 hours for
polishing and 30 hours for pressing. How many Superior and Ordinary products can be
produced to maximize the profit?
