Overview
Join us for a one-day Warhammer Age of Sigmar PaardeKraal Battle grounds event. Bring
your best 2000P AoS Army for a three-rounds of bloody battle. We hope to provide a great
way to meet new players and enjoy some great games during this event.

The tournament will be held at Krugersdorp TableTop Club based at the Khosa
Sports club in Krugersdorp

Parking is secured with security officers on site.

The Khosa Sports club has a fully functional Bar and restaurant on site with Card
facilities. There is also an ATM available that takes most cards on the premises.
Please note: It’s not allowed to bring your own food and drinks. There is a bar
where you can get drinks and food.

Registration Process
You can register your Army by sending an E-mail to Remco@questek.co.za. You will
receive an e-mail with payment instructions and ticket number. As soon your
payment is received, your registration is final and you will be notified.
Tickets cost R100,00 per player.
Registration process starts on 15 of February 2021 and closes on the 26th Feb 2021.
When you arrive on the 28th, please let us know you've arrived. This will help hugely
with making sure that everyone has an opponent and we can start on time.

Note for Attendees:


Players are expected to show respect to attendees, towards each other, its staff, and guests.
If a dispute happens at the table, we encourage you to resolve it at the table. If a decision
cannot be met, call over a T.O. who will make the final decision. Players are expected to abide
by that decision. Any player exhibiting inappropriate conduct to any of the listed above may be
asked to leave the event by the T.O. with no refund issued.

Playing at the event


In the first round Players will be randomly selected. After the first round we will go into a Swiss
system.
The game ends if 5 turns are played, the 1st player who does not have any units on the table
which they started with or the time (2 hours and 30 minutes) has passed. You will be getting a
notice of how long is remaining (1 hour, 30 minutes and 15 minutes).

Scoring Points
During the battle you will score victory points. They will count towards your final score. Be aware
that Major and Minor wins and losses are used for your score.

Aside from you victory points we have secondary objectives. These you can score during your game.

Your victory points and the points are counted towards your final score for that round.

Secondary objectives
Break the Line: Kill all opponent’s battle lines. 1 VP
Slay the General: Kill the opponent’s general 1 VP
Path to Conquest: By the end of round 5 you have
a unit wholly within your opponent’s territory 1 VP
One Step Ahead: Kill the first unit on the table 1 VP
Total Annihilation: Kill all of your opponent’s units (Total wipe) 3 VP

The results must be registered within 5 minutes after the end of the round through the
document provided to you.

POINTS

Painted (1-3-5)
1 – The army has colours but units are not finished to the minimum. If the army hasn’t at least 3
painted units, no points will be awarded.
3 – The army is fully painted in basic colors (3)
5 – The army is painted into coherent manner of high standard (Highlighted, washed,
freehanded, transfers and so on)

Basing
1 – All models have sand or flock
5 – Extra effort has been put into the base (Washed, highlighted, tuffs, skull and so on)

Squad markings
0 – Not all units have squad markings.
5 – All units have squad markings Note: A squad marking is a way to see which unit is which. For
example you have two of the same units. The one unit is blue and the other one is red. 1 unit
has a 1 on all there bases and the other unit has 2 on all there bases.

WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)


0 – Your army is not WYSIWYG.
5 – Your army is WYSIWYG

Conversion points
When your army has a lot of conversions you can score 5 extra points for this. Be aware that there are
bonus points. These can be awarded to players who don’t get 20 points. Think about people missing
squad markings

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:


Best Overall Player - 1st and 2nd place
Best Painted Army - 1st (voting system)
Best Sportsman (voting system)

Categories.
Best Painted army and best Sportsman is nominated by you – During the second break all Tournament
players are asked to setup their army so you can vote the army you think is best painted. At the end of
the event, you can fill in your favourite game of the day on a voting ticket given to you. The player with the
most votes is the winner. In the event of a tie for "Best Sportsman", the highest-placed player on gaming
points will receive the award.

Army list
Your army must meet the following restrictions:

- You may spend up to 2000 points.


- You must make a battle host from the Pitched Battles.
- Forge world is allowed
- Alliance abilities, command traits artifacts, prayers, mount traits must be on your army list. This
includes collegiate Arcane Battle mages
- Your army can come from a realm as described on page 79 from the malign Sorcery rulebook.
Only one realm can be chosen. Artifacts will be in use. Realm specific spells won’t be in use.
- Firestorm supplement will not be used.

Restrictions
- Realmscape rules are not in use. The only things that are in use are the spells from the realms.
- The event is played using Generals handbook 2020. Copies available at the tournament
- Units and armies use their latest profile
- FAQS released after 15-02--21 won’t be used.
- Scenery is set-up at the start of the event. It not allowed to move scenery.
- Base stacking is not allowed. Measurements are measured from base to base.
- Your models must be on round bases. Square bases but on top of rounds are also allowed
- Abilities, Command abilities or prayers with the same name are not allowed to be stacked.
Different named once which give the same benefit, like a +1 to hit, are allowed.
- Non predatory Endless spells cannot be set-up within 3 inches of an objective. If an objective
moves and comes within 3 inches, move the spell outside of the 3 inches. This must be done with
the least amount of movement.
- Legion of Nagash gravesites must be measured form the centre of the marker
- Army terrain won’t be used if it can’t be placed in the correct manor. Referring to the last FAQ

What to bring along
Tournament players should bring the following with for the tournament day.

• Up to 2000P AOS legal Army! (Fully painted for max points)


• Rule book for AOS and most important your army’s BattleTome. Tablet with access to PDF allowed.
• Warscrolls or Copies of your armies Warscrolls. Tablet with access to PDF allowed.
• Dice and Tape Measure with inches. Dices with 1 symbol on a side are allowed.
• 3 copies of you army list. 1 for yourself, 1 to give to your opponent and one for the organisers.
• Markers, objectives and buff counters
• 2020 General’s Handbook (Copies available at the tournament)

What is provided by the Krugersdorp TableTop Club.

• All Tournament players will receive a complimentary drink by choice.


• All Tournament players will receive a voting ticket for best painted army and voting ticket for best
sportsmanship player
• Prices will be awarded to the winners.
• The Table’s and terrain will be provided by the Krugersdorp TableTop Club.
• Please look after the terrain pieces when using the tables and terrain pieces on the table.
• We want to ensure all have a great time during the event.

Covid-19
• During this Day-Tournament Covid rules have to be followed.
• The Battle tables will be placed apart from each other to ensure social distancing.
• When arriving at the Khosa sports clubs you have to fill in the track and trace form.
• Please wear your facemask when arriving and moving around the sports club. When seated at your
game you are allowed to remove your mask.
• If you feel unwell before the start of the tournament please do not join. If you feel unwell please
remove yourself from the tournament.
• Please respect each other’s needs if someone preferred to keep wearing masks during the game,
participate in your components request.
• Ensure you have your own dice measurement tape and other personal equipment to minimise
lending equipment.
• Multiple Sanitizers are present at the club and accessible for anyone.
• Spectators are not allowed during the duration of the Tournament.
