A. Infant Feeding Practices

Interpretation and Data Analysis

Lactating mothers believe that breastfeeding is cheaper and also convenient because they

don’t have to clean baby bottles every now and then. Bonding for the mother and the child also

promoted. Breastfeeding is well recognized because it strengthens the baby’s immune system

and shows that it is the best way for the infant to acquire nutrients.

3 (60%) of the mothers chose to breastfeed their babies for the main reason that it is

cheaper and convenient as well as it is much healthier for their babies, while 2 (40%) of the total

mothers have given their children infant formula milk.

B. Immunization Status

Interpretation and Data Analysis

 Immunization is the process by which an individual’s immune system becomes fortified

against an agent known as the immunogen. When the human immune system is exposed to

molecules that are foreign to the body, it will orchestrate an immune response, but it can also

develop the ability to quickly respond to a subsequent encounter. It helps the body boost up

antibodies to protect one person from certain diseases and infections.

Based on the table, 18 (62%) of the respondents have a complete immunization while 9

(29%) are incomplete. There are still 2 (9%) of the respondents who didn’t experience being

immunized at all. Most of the respondents have complete immunization and therefore keeps

them from infections.

C. Family Planning
Interpretation and Analysis of Data

Family planning allows individual and couples to anticipate and attain their desire

number of children and the spacing and timing of their births. It is achieved through use of

contraceptive methods and the treatment of involuntary infertility. A women ability to space and

limit her pregnancies has a direct impact on her health and well-being as well as on the outcome

of each pregnancy.

Proper dissemination of information regarding the various methods of family planning

should be made available to the area. Providing them with adequate information will help them

understand and appreciated better.

Based on the data gathered, 3 (60%) families are using natural family planning and 1

family uses an artificial family planning. 1 family does not use any of these 2 at all.
