About the Course

These qualifications are designed of directors and senior managers who have the authority across
organisational and personal inspiration to translate organisational strategy into effective
performance. The qualifications require directors and senior managers to build on their skills in
strategic direction and leadership and to focus on the requirements of inter-organisational
strategy.
You can study at the Award, Certificate or Diploma level. You must complete the Level 8
Certificate before you can move onto the Diploma.
The course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the leading industry
accreditation authority offering online strategic management courses.
CMI is the only organisation that offers Level 8 (equivalent to a doctorate).

Entry Requirements

• Be currently working at, or have recent experience of, a senior-executive / senior-specialist /

director level position, for a minimum of 3 years
• Provide a minimum of 2 items of checkable evidence of operating in that role – such as a link to
a page on the organisation’s website showing that person, a signed statement from the most
senior leader in that organisation, a link to the individual’s LinkedIn profile page
• Hold a relevant UK Level 7 qualification, or a recognised equivalent - and provide a copy of the
original award document

The Award consists of 1 unit and has a transferable value of a minimum of 10 credits

Assessment Requirements

• One assignment for each unit

• No examinations

Course Delivery

• The course is a self-study course. It is delivered via an Online Virtual Learning Environment
(VLE) called Moodle.
• Students are given a time table to follow, with assignment submission dates.
• Study materials consist of self-study online books that are available on our Online Virtual
Learning Environment (VLE) called Moodle.
• Assignments are available via the Online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and are
submitted to your tutor via the Online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
• Tutors will mark your assignment and feedback via the VLE.
• Tutors are also available to guide and help you with the course via the VLE.
• All students can submit a draft assignment before the final assignment is submitted to your
tutor for grading.
Tutor Support

Following registration, you will be allocated a UK-based tutor, who will be available by telephone and
Moodle Messaging to discuss your coursework and give advice and guidance on assignments

Award

£300 GBP, plus £156.00 GBP CMI Registration Fee (these course fees cover all study materials,
personal tutor support and assessments). VAT will be charged if applicable.

Certificate

£525 GBP, plus £240.00 GBP CMI Registration Fee (these course fees cover all study materials,
personal tutor support and assessments). VAT will be charged if applicable.
