rewarded with $19. This week, she received some money for cooking lunch. She now has
$37.25 from both responsibilities. How much money did she receive for cooking lunch?

2. Samuel is planning a surprise birthday for his best friend Sofia Bolaño. And so he needs to buy
chocolate cupcakes from Cecy Dangond. Each cupcake costs $4. How many COMPLETE
chocolate cupcakes can you buy with $70? Write an equation and then solve it.
3. Laura B and her twin sister, Laura C, found some money buried in a field. They decided to split
the money evenly, each getting $24.32. How much money did they find? Write an equation
and then solve it.
4. At a Nigerian restaurant in 2016, Maria Isabel and her two friends decided to divide the bill
evenly. If each person paid 4200 Naira (currency of Nigeria) then what was the total bill?

5. A video store charges $6 per day for overdue video games. Rodo owes a late fee of $114 for

6. A local park rents paddle boats for $5.50 per hour. Johnny has $22 to spend. For how many

Graphing inequalities.

Change the following word phrases into inequalities and then graph them. Remember each inequality

For the following question, write an inequality for each statement. Then graph the inequality.
