Re: Water, Power and HVAC Update for Mosaic.

Dear Mosaic Residents:

As promised, we will do our best to keep you updated as we receive additional information. First, we want
to thank all those that have shown compassion and patience during this difficult time. We have seen so
many neighbors taking care of and checking in on each other. We are doing everything in our power to
respond to all calls and emails as they come in, and are focused on getting answers and solutions for each
of you. Many residents met in our lobby yesterday (8/23/2021) with questions, and we want to make sure
that we shared with all residents the steps we are taking in a consistent manner.

FAQs:
- What is Mosaic doing to help our residents with the inconvenience caused by the chain of events
starting 8/10/2021?
o Each apartment will receive a $500 Concession for September’s rent.
▪ We hope that this can help with those that have had to pay for hotel or those that wish to
get a hotel for the next two days as we get the cooling tower back to normal operation.
o There is seating with some ceiling fans in the 1st floor resident center.

- When will the ACs be working?

o We are on track to have the cooling tower up within 24-48 hours from now.
o We continue to monitor the equipment and flow of water.
o We will also reach back out to have residents turn the breakers off on their AC. This is to help
any power surges that could cause the breaker on your AC to trip. If this happens and is not
caught, it could burn up the compressor or other parts of the AC, causing it to go out.

Updates
- As of this morning, 8/24/2021, the cooling tower has held water and has pressure. We see that system
seem to be starting to cool; but we anticipate at least 24 hours to get the tower cooled down to the
desired temperature.
- We have had to turn a few elevators offline to ensure they did not overheat, causing more issues for
our residents.

As stated in previous communication, The Mosaic team assures all residents it is working diligently
with the City of Dallas and third-party contractors to rectify this situation as soon as possible. The
Mosaic team will continue to issue updates as more information becomes available.

Sincerely,

Olympus Property
