Re: Water, Power, and HVAC Update for Mosaic

[8/25/2021/5:00 p.m.] UPDATE: Due to volumes of bookings at Aloft, they have reached capacity. If you still
need accommodations, please proceed directly to the Fairmont Hotel Dallas to book a room, which will be
covered the same way as Aloft.

Dear Mosaic Residents,

We continue to do everything in our power to restore HVAC operations to the building, and had
team members and multiple third-party contractors work through the night to ensure progress was
made. Unfortunately, we have not yet fully fixed all HVAC issues that some residents continue to
experience, and may require an additional 24-48 hours to do so.

We recognize the frustration and inconvenience that this will cause, so Olympus Property is offering
the following to our residents as temporary relief while restoration work with our contractors and
city representatives continues.

• Beginning now (3 p.m. CT, 8/25/2021), all residents who are experiencing no in-unit HVAC
operations will be able to book 2-night (8/25/2021 and 8/26/2021) stay accommodations at
the Aloft Dallas Downtown, which is walking distance from The Mosaic.
• Olympus Property will fully cover the 2-night stay cost of the room (including pets) and any
associated taxes & fees at the Aloft.
• If Aloft reaches capacity, we will send an update to residents providing additional options.
• The 2-night stay hotel offer will only cover the room and any associated taxes & fees. No
incidentals, parking, or other additional costs residents elect to incur will be covered by
Olympus Property.
• Anyone who has previously checked into a separate hotel for an overnight stay beginning
on or before 8/25/2021 (3 p.m. CT) should contact the leasing office to discuss alternate
reimbursement options.
• This 2-night stay shall be in addition to the $500 September rent credit previously provided.
• Anyone who needs to request an alternative option to the hotel offer, please reach out to the
leasing office.

Should residents choose to request the 2-night stay option listed above, they will be required to
provide both ID and a credit/debit card upon check-in. Most hotels require a credit/debit card at
check-in as insurance in case of things like damage caused to the room, and to cover incidentals,
such as room service. While your credit/debit card may require a hold to be placed on it at check-
in, it will not be charged for the above listed 2-night stay covered by Olympus Property.

The Mosaic Team will continue to work diligently with the City of Dallas and third-party
contractors to fully restore HVAC operations as soon as possible, as well as address all issues as
they arise. We thank you for your continued patience and will continue to issue updates as more
information becomes available.

Sincerely,

Olympus Property
