PRESERVING CROCKS
Our mul -func onal preserving crocks serve many uses. Tradi onally, they are used for preserving vegetables, such as cucumbers for
pickling, and cabbage for sauerkraut. Crocks filled with food for fermenta on purposes should be kept in cool, dry environments. This
allows the fruits and vegetables to ferment naturally. Our preserving crocks can also be used for everyday purposes, such as pantry
storage and kitchen containers. Our lead-free glazes make our preserving crocks safe and easy to clean. They are also oven, microwave,
and dishwasher safe.

Celebrating 15 Years

Ohio Stoneware is excited to celebrate 15 years in business on July 9, 2020. The last two years have been very
exci ng, as we made a large acquisi on, which nearly doubled our manufacturing and warehouse space. We
moved our offices, warehouse, and part of our manufacturing to 1719 Dearborn Street (formerly Hartstone
Po ery, and before that, the historic Owens Po ery), which was the site of the largest illegal dis llery bust during
the prohibi on. This acquisi on will allow us to grow our current product offering, but also expand into areas we
have not been able to in the past, which include hand painted ar san po ery, a larger line of custom ware, and
more dinnerware items. Look for updates as we introduce new product lines.

We con nue to be a family operated business in the heart of what used to be the Po ery Capital of the World.
From humble beginnings, when the product line contained only ten items to the diverse business we are today, we
