time Heart Brand Tools are despatched from
our factory, infinite care is taken with all the many
details necessary for the production of a hand tool
which is ma.nufactured to a standard of quality.
The method of production at the factory is most
stringent, and no tool is despatched from our
works without inspection and test.

HIGH FREQUENCY INDUCTION HARDENING

All patterns in this catalogue and/or price list
carrying the suffix ‘E’ are treated by this process
which allows the cutting edge to deal with HIGH
TENSILE STEEL WIRE whilst the body of the tool
is left in its toughest state.
ALL TOOLS SO TREATED ARE GUARANTEED
TO CUT HARD WIRE. ~

INSULATION :
All insulation is applied to our tools in our own
works and each tool is tested on our 20.000 volt
electrical testing plant.
C 191 Ribbed red rubber insulation.
C 192 Heavy P.V.C. insulation.
C 193 Standard ribbed P.V.C. insulation.
C 194 Red Lustre, ribbed translucent P.V.C.
applied to nickel plated, high frequency
treated, plier, giving an attractive appear-
ance.

All other tools are packed Six or Twelve to a box
suitably labelled.
SHOWBOARDS These are available without
charge on request. They carry
17 assorted tools and are supplied
on the placing of a stock order.
SHOWCARDS Attractive showcards are avail-
able on request, but these are
always included in export cases.
TESTING Cutting edges of all tools undergo
a practical test by machine and
hand before despatch.
GUARANTEE All tools are inspected during
manufacture and before final car-
toning or boxing. Any tool
proving defective will be re-
placed if not subjected to misuse.

 These pincers have been designed for use by
concrete reinforcement erectors. The whole
width of one jaw has a flat face, half the width
of the opposite jaw is similar, to permit the
pulling and twisting of binding wires. The
other half of the opposite jaw is bevelled to
a cutting edge to enable wires to be cut.
