Outputs and Outcomes

Proposed Intervention
Describe the Action Plan and Project (APP)
you will propose after this training.
After this training, I will recommend to our dean and program
chairperson the different course sites where they can select
courses that they can enroll in. I can also suggest to our
program chair to encourage my co-faculty to enroll at least 1
course per instructor every semester to enhance the capacity
building of my colleagues.

What will be the resources required for the

implementation of your proposed
project/Action Plan and how do you plan to
source these needed resources?
What will be your role/contribution in this
proposed program/initiative?
Having the no face-to-face classes during this semester,
instructors have plenty of time to enroll in some MOOCs. After
faculty have finished their courses, the department can have a
peer-to-peer discussion of good practices and learning that
they have gained from the courses that they enrolled. From the
department, to the college, to the whole university, we can
encourage everyone on availing courses in the MOOCs.
I will be the initiator of this activity in our department.
Eventually, being in the college where knowledge is so diverse,
we can encourage more colleagues to also enroll.
Impact and value to HEI
What will be the impact of the proposed
project to your University/school?
It will be beneficial and great opportunity for all SLSU faculty
and employees to enroll in one or more MOOCs especially that
during this time where face-to-face short courses is not
possible. Learning will continue to the SLSU community.

Sustainability Plan
How do you propose to sustain the project?
In order to sustain this project, the university should assign the
Faculty and Staff Development Program Office to monitor the
courses enrolled by the faculty and employees and provide
incentives to those who have accomplished relevant courses.
