Learning Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, you should be able to:
a. identify the different stakeholders of the curriculum;
b. summarized the different roles of the stakeholders of the curriculum ; and
c. analyse the importance of the different roles of stakeholders in designing and
evaluating curriculum.

Readings
Stakeholder typically refers to one who is associated with the welfare and success of a
school and its students. They may also be collective entities, such as local businesses,
organizations, committees, media outlets and others that have roles in the curriculum
development. Below is the summary of the major stakeholders who play significant roles in
curriculum development.
