1.0 INTRODUCTION
When it comes to online student social learning in education, the model has been pretty
straightforward - up until the early 2000s education was in a classroom of students with a
teacher who led the process. Physical presence was a no-brainer, and any other type of
learning was questionable at best and text book and other course material distribution are
manually carried out. Then the internet happened, and the rest is history. E-learning is a
rapidly growing, the effects of which we can trace back to the 1980s and even well before
that
Now that affordable e-learning solutions exist for both computers and any devices with
internet access, it only takes a good e-learning tool for education to be facilitated and
course material to be distributed from virtually anywhere. These project aim to create a
Technology that will bridged geographical gap so much that the use of tools that make
you feel as if you are inside the classroom is been established. E-learning course
distributing system offers the ability to share material in all kinds of formats such as
videos, slideshows, word documents and PDFs. Conducting webinars (live online classes)
and communicating with professors via chat and message forums is also an option
available to users.

E-learning course distributing system is a plethora of different e-learning systems and

methods, which allow for courses to be delivered. With the right tool various processes
can be automated such as a course with set materials and . E-learning course distributing
system is an affordable (and often free) solution which provides the learners with the
ability to fit learning around their lifestyles, effectively allowing even the busiest student
to study at any given time career and gain new qualifications.

Some of the most important developments in education have happened since the launch
of the internet. These days learners are well versed in the use of smartphones, text
messaging and using the internet so participating in and running an online social
interactive has become a simple affair. Message boards, social media and various other
means of online communication allow student to keep in touch and discuss course related
matters, whilst providing for a sense of community.

In the fast-paced world of e-learning the available technologies to make a course new and
exciting are always changing, and course content can and should be updated quickly to
give students the very latest information.

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Internet as global connection of computers sited around the world
forming huge network for information to be shared and disseminated
by many millions of people has done so well in information
technology and in education so to speak. Virtual classroom course
distributing system and text-based e-learning cannot be an
exception.Often time’s students experience a lot of difficult in the
quest for basic knowledge from from a particular course the he/she is
undertaken , not for the fact that the person is not willing to learn or
to acquire the knowledge, but the risk and expense in travelling from
one hostel to another hostel is not always convenient for the other
student or the fellow student approach might not even have the
solution or answer to the problem. In order to reduce these risks,
google website and other research computer were established but did
not solve the problem of travelling out from one’s location to the said
location in quest for knowledge, or trying to see the lecturer may at
his/her inconvenience time
In this regard, Federal university minna student does not have the
ease of getting course material and answer to their question from
lecturer, this sometimes reduces the number of students performance
in the school to the above listed problems the system “virtual
classroom and text based e- learning course distributing system will
be designed with this Federal university minna will have thousands of
student in which she which will have access to course material at any
time the desire still gain much grounds economically and student
question will be answer by their fellow student or the lecturer in
charge.
This is designed that before anybody can participate must register
with their school reg_number. Students have free registration form
but lecturers must provide their staff number that tally with their
surnames before they have access to to the portal. This will go along
way increasing student’s performance both academically and after
school because all the necessary tools and platform to enhance and
incorporate learning has been enacted in E-learning course distributing
system. Having seen and observed. Having seen and observed this
benefit to students in an unprecedented scale.
Indeed, this sounds interesting to all student and my academic
pursuit in federal university minna. Perhaps this calls for
implementation.

1.2STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Due to the problems students find and experiences, it has never been
easy for students to easily acquire efficient basic interactive
educational materail from student to student or from lecturer to
student in my institution one wishes irrespective of the fact that the
resources are there. This poses a lot of problems sometimes they will
embrace not going to the lecture at all because of time factor in the
lecture side or fellow student who seem to be intellectual demanding
to high or given unnecessary excuses. It is very impossible for a
student coming to the lecturer office everyday for explanation or to is
fellow course mate , it will be impossible for federal university minna
staff going to the class room or any other place where the students
might be located everyday to deliver lectures or give explanation.
Sometimes if number of students with mind boggling question
increase reduction in lecturer answer to student will be poorly attend
to, and not all student will to given opportunity to express theme self .
The above views are what gave birth to the research work in order to
find solution to them.
Using the department of computer science of federal university minna
as my case study the current system use the natural classroom system
which has several cons like:
1. Shy student may not be communicate ideas. Forcing student to
learn by vocal exchange with a processor may limit their ability to
learn.
2. None participation of vast majority of student in group assignment
3. The class room setting can also hinder one ability to learn by
allowing other more vocal and student to dominate the bulk of the
discussion environment. Quieter personality are limited in their
communication option for exchange idea and information.

1.3PURPOSE OF THE STUDY

Over the year their is increase emphasis on the use of flexible method
of course delivering in higher education and as part of that trend their
is increase in the use of communication and information technology.
The availability of flexible learning resources has in turn lead to the
use of increase use of flexible delivery method base on
communication and information technology for on-campus student.a
positive significant effect on these method was seen in the quality of
interaction among student and between student and teaching staff.
Their are only two beneficiaries in this project, the student and the
teaching staff with these project the student will be able to with each
other on their course content student will also be able to interact with
their course content directly instructor will able to access their
student learning skill or pace through the discussion board, and
instructor will also be able to interact with each other instructor on
new teaching method and advance on their area of speciality.

1.4 AIM AND OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

Collaborative learning is an e-learning approach where students are able to socially
interact with other students, as well as instructors. In essence, learners work together in
order to expand their knowledge of a particular subject or skill. In e-learning
environments, this is typically done through live chats, message boards, or instant
messaging.

Collaborative learning is based upon the principle that students can enrich their learning
experiences by interacting with others and benefiting from one another's strengths. In
collaborative learning situations, students are responsible for one another's actions and
tasks which encourages teamwork as well.

This method of advancing student learning on-campus can be conducted on the web, and
can be done asynchronously or synchronously. It allows students to learn from the ideas,
skill sets, and experience of others enrolled in the course. By engaging in a shared task
(whether it be a project or lesson) pupils gain the opportunity to learn a variety of skills,
such as group analysis and collaborative teamwork building skills.

In addition, even students who are unable to attend a live event online can participate in
collaborative learning, thanks to VIRTUAL E-LEARNING COURSE MATERIAL

DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM forums, message boards. They overall benefit are outline below:

1. Facilitate interaction among student on course content.

2. Provide an avenue where student can directly interact with their course content and get
their course material online for their course.

3. Provid ean avenue where instructor can communicate with aech other on new teaching
techniques.

1.5SCOPE AND LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

The scope of the purpose system is to address the issue of interaction
and group work in traditional learning system and to make sure every
student actively participate in their class.
Because of the robustness of the system the project id limited to the
department of Mathematica and computer science only, however, it
can be improved upon to cover a large area.
