the future. With education in our hands, we are able to be engaged in prominent
institutions compared to those who haven’t. It also paves way to a lot of
opportunities that could bring us to our desired goals and could enhance our
skills.

2. Why should a teacher study philosophy of education?

As teachers, we need to study philosophy of education for us to be able to
be an effective teacher as what we aim to be in the first place. This helps us to
be more aware of our students, how to cope to their needs, understand them and
be their adviser when they need one. As teachers, we play a vital role in shaping
our learners, and how they see the world in view to what we show them. And this
is a two-way learning, you learn from them as they are from you.

consider in this matter, not only the education itself but also the problems related
to it. The nature of education, aims, theories, interpretations, relationships,
individuals involved, and a lot more. Knowing these facets, it could lead us to
different information and unlimited ideas. That’s when we can say that it has an
unlimited scope for it serves as an umbrella to a lot more information.

4. Discuss the relationship between Philosophy of Teaching and Teaching

styles.
Philosophy of teaching is a philosophical approach to teaching and
learning process and teaching style refers to the teaching strategies and
methods employed, thus, these two comes together. Philosophy of teaching will
serve as your blueprint on what teaching style you will be having inside your
classroom for the teaching-learning process possible and effective. Teaching
style gives life to the philosophy of teaching. Having your philosophy as your
foundation, employing your teaching style will never be tough. Consider potential
ways on how to achieve your philosophy through your teaching styles and let it
be your ground to see if your styles are working and see if your goal was met. A
positive learning environment happens when a teacher understands her students
and is ready for the forthcoming challenges.
