INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS
There are three phases of instruction. Screen Time, Group Breakouts, and Portfolio Productions. These
phases aim to optimize the skills and abilities of the learners to exercise Communication, Critical
Thinking, Creativity, and Collaboration that are deemed necessary to achieve the vision of the 21 st
Century Education.
The instructional process is leaned towards project-based, output-oriented mechanism where students
are opted to come up with creative outputs or productions that would measure their understanding and
applications of the learned concepts.
The teachers are going to deliver their lessons in virtual terms through online tools and platforms such
as Google Meet, Zoom or Google Hang-outs provided they will provide their visual presentation through
digital application ( prezi, powerpoint, etc.). The duration of the lesson presentation is sixty (60) minutes
or an hour.
Group Breakouts
The Group Breakouts is the collaborative phase of the lessons where students are given ample time to
discuss their understanding of the lessons among the class, approach the required texts, and validate
the data of information from the shared links related to the topics. This offer spaces for students to
exercise effective communication where they reach consensus, planning, brainstorming together

especially to generate the expected outputs required on them. The students may use group chats, zoom
meeting, Google hangouts at this particular phase of instruction.
Portfolio Productions
The instruction culminates to the portfolio production in which the students generate their creative
outputs or projects. The portfolio takes in the form of journal writing, academic papers, and creative
productions such as audio-visual presentation, digital artworks, zine, photography, video logs, and the
like. Creative performances would also be covered in this phase. The outputs of the students would
measure their understanding and application of the concepts.
Most likely, the instructional program would integrate concepts into one production as multidisciplinary
process of approaching the academic directions. Workload for the presentation of their outputs is
allocated for an hour.
There are nine (9) learning areas covered in every semester as prescribed by Department of Education,
cited in the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC). With the new learning set-up, students’
digital engagement is limited to three terms against semestral academic program. In every term, the
duration covers six (6) weeks, and that allocated for three (3) subjects for two (2) hours and (40) forty
minutes. The term therefore meets the required number of hours of eighty (80) minutes.
The formative evaluation covers the portfolio as the product of learners’ gained knowledge and learned
skills. It is conducted regularly that falls every Friday. There are three summative evaluations to be
conducted that will fall accordingly every two weeks. These will take two forms of assessment: written
and project-based that consolidates both knowledge on theories and practical application. Written
forms will be taken through Google classroom or Monkey Survey, and other valuable online tools offer
the same purpose.
Participation criterion entails attendance of the learner in the group discussion (gcs, zoom meetings),
weight of contribution in the discussion, and their involvement and collaboration in the making of the
group consolidated outputs.
Criterion on productions and performances refers to the actual production of a project. Example of
these outputs: video productions, vlogs, short video clips, painting and any digital works, blogging, etc.
Assessment gives weight on the collection of written works and results of written tests that is now called
portfolio.
