OBJECTIVE
My goal is to improve my community and assist in the betterment of other individuals.

EXPERIENCE
08/2020-Current DISASTER CASE MANAGER, AmeriCorps/Butte County DESS
· Carry a caseload of individuals impacted by the Camp Fire and determine the specific
needs of those seeking assistance.
· Assess the level of need through phone/Skype visits in areas such as short-term housing,
long term housing, replacement of belongings, and mental health services.
· Develop an individualized Disaster Recovery Plan with each client, monitor and follow-up
regularly to reassess client status. Provide case management services for clients and assist
clients in navigating requirements for accessing services.
· Update and maintain client files and records, documenting services provided in the
Disaster Case Management Database system.
· Support the relationship between Butte County and the constituent population by
demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interfacing with clients, visitors,
and other employees.

3/2013-03/2020 MANAGER, Grocery Outlet: Antioch/Clayton Valley/Chico Locations

· Directed 7 employees in order to prepare the store for closing and the next day’s shift.
· Responsible for handling monies, completing deposits, directing in stocking, collaborating
with vendors, receiving new merchandise, and providing excellent customer service.

1/2014-5/2016 STUDENT INTERN, College Supervised Teaching Experience

· At the Los Medanos Lab School, I created a developmentally appropriate curriculum, each
semester. These were based on the interests of a classroom of children, working a total of
approximately 250 hours.
· I assisted in preparing their environment in the morning, provided meaningful interactions,
and mentored new interns. I also established positive relationships with families, and
completed assessments using DRDP’s and ITERS.
