Research justification is the reason why the research is being conducted and why the research is
needed. For me, this may be found in the introduction section.
What’s More
The focus of this study is to determine the reason behind parents' overprotectiveness towards their
children despite their age. Other than that, the advantages and disadvantages of being restrictive
must be highlighted.
It delimits that the study may not be generalized to other schools and youths that are not in Grade
11.
Assessment
Introduction
Why do most parents are overprotective of their children despite their age? Is it normal
even though they can already manage themselves?
There are a lot of factors to consider why parents are overprotective. These may include the
following: (1) bad influences, (2) harm, (3) trust issue. And because of these factors, it made them so
overprotective when it comes to their children.
Overprotective parents want to protect children from harm, bad influences, etc. Despite our
age, we can already manage ourselves as we are already in our adulthood. If this keeps up, there
may be something wrong that can affect their independence, emotional problems, and many other
negative effects. Once the parents became too fearful, the children will be scared too.
This study aims to investigate one common reason why parents are overprotective. These
will help us understand our parents and respect their decisions.
The focus of this study is to determine the reason behind parents' overprotectiveness

Grade 11.
These study findings will benefit both the parent and their children. We will find out their main
reasons to be so overprotective. The better we understand our parents, the better our relationship
with them.
