1) Product:
Laundrywala's product is the service they provide. Laundry and Dry-cleaning. They have large
latest design washing machines and dryers; detergents and cleaning agents (customer's
own/branded/local unbranded); iron; packaging materials, wrapping, hangers;telephone and
computer for booking; for delivery transportation: self owned vans/motorcycles.

2) Price:

• Single garment price (wash and iron): 5-15 rupees

• Home and bed linen (wash and iron):30-50

• Woollens:50-100

• Single garment (iron): 3-10

• Home and bed linen(iron): 10-30

• Prices are depended on locality, upscale areas have higher price.

Charge for laundry and charge for dry-cleaning is not same. Dry-cleaning is more than laundry charge.
The agents used during dry cleaning aren't counted, as they are very cheap.

3) Place:

Their work space is in a reserved room of a building, in Noida, India. No physical outlet, it is an
online on-demand laundry service. They started another branch in New Delhi.

4)Promotion:

They use print media, social media and have their own website to engage with their target market.

• For Discounts: they provide attractive, year- round; seasonal/festival discounts and promotions

• 20% revenue from dry cleaning and 80% from laundry.


5)Physical evidence:

They have their own logo and mascot. They use website to book orders and use telephone as well. They
delivery through means of their own van or through bicycle.

6)Process:

They use two methods to gain profit. There is B2B and there is B2B2C. In B2B2B, they take large stock of
clothes at one go and dry-clean or wash and deliver back, the business owner then returns the items to
the customers. In B2B, is a client-laundry relationship where the stocks are picked at one go and then
delivered after service is done.

And in B2C is when customer book according to their convenience and have more flexibility in their
clothe quantity. Usually it's in small number.

Laundrywala use phone method and online method for booking - then they pick-up, wash and or iron-
drop off.

7)People:

There are 25 people working in Laundrywala:

• one operation manager (responsible for managing the factory,

• including procurement),

• one delivery manager (handling the logistics team),

• two to three washers, one dry cleaning expert (who is expert in Dry-cleaning and knowing which
chemical to use),

• three to four ironing people,

• 8 to 10 pickup boys(with adequate knowledge of dry-cleaning; so they can explain the customer if
there is any issue with the cloth.),

• two managers, and two to three staff members responsible

for packing.

These employees largely fell between the ages of 21 and 40.

They seek for intangible benefit, they want to entrust their special garments that needed special care
and knowledge in terms of handling them. The customers also wanted a quick, impactful and efficient
solution to have their laundry done.
Here are the services they seek from Laundrywala:

1.Reliability: Ensure the outmost effective technology and chemical used.

2.Assurance: They want expert opinion on what the situation is, that’s why Laundrywala hired an expert
to let them know what the situation is.

3.Responsiveness: They want their life to be much easier with not dealing with laundry. Laundrywala
picks up at the customer’s booking time, they clean/iron/ pack and deliver.
