Billion USD company based out of Wisconsin involved in the manufacture and sales of motors and generators. It is
present in major geographies like USA/Canada/China/ india / Australia /Europe. It had entered India after
acquiring General Electric , USA ‘s FHP Business and Alstom’s motors and Fans business .

 Integrating different teams from two different cultures of GE and Alstom for a better synergy
 Building the Industrial Team for HT Motors from Scratch – Handled day to day operations single
handedly during the transition without losing out on the business from the existing customers.
 Consolidated the business by building upon the existing customer profile and adding new growth
customers ( Sudden drop in Business in Karnataka due to Mining Ban was handled proactively by
adding new customers )
 Negotiated an order with Satavahana group for an order at 6-7.5 % premium over their existing
vendor by focusing on non price factors . The Satavahana group is on a growth path and adding of
the above group has only initiated a good order pipe line for the future for the company at a better
price and payment terms . This will only help in boosting the bottom line of the company in a
tough business Environment .
 As a Team Leader was able to convince team that pushing for better payment terms will not lead to
erosion of existing customer base. Team was able to collect 250 Lakhs from EPI( A PSU ) on
immediate payment terms !, 100 lakhs from Bhillai Steel Plant etc.
 Executed the strategy in Network Development of Exclusive Dealers and healthier dealer network
to increase point of sale through the trade team.
 One of the best Talent retention ratios in the company for the last three years in a tough
environment despite competition regularly approaching the team.
 Was instrumental in bagging the first order for 1200 KW 690 V VFD motor for the pipe conveyors
from NTPC and getting the NTPC approval - First in the industry from NTPC –Opening up a huge
potential for the company in the power sector . This was in a collaborative effort with Danfoss
Drives for NTPC Vallur.
 Was instrumental in forging business partnerships with all the major drive manufacturers – ABB,
Danfoss, Control Technique , Hitachi, Vacon , Parker - Opening up a huge market for the company
in the drives market.
