Yes, as an American I can just hear this person in my head as this sounds like
usually spouted bullshit from the people whose only vacations have been to Florida.
Otherwise they never leave the tri state area and take big trips "into the city" a
couple times of year. Their thoughts on Europe have been completely formed from
WWII movies (hence the no tech) and incorrectly believing Game of Thrones took
place somewhere in the EU.
