Among the five perspectives on the history of globalization, I believe that cycles are the

reason behind the origin of globalization. According to the module, cycles explain that there is
no single point of origin in globalization, but it is a long-term cyclical process wherein the
current global age today is only a modification of the global age in the past. In the same as in the
figure above, in my observation, because of human needs and wants, it resulted in globalization
while in globalization, modification and technology are involved. As a human, we have basic
needs that it’s hard to survive a day without it like our shelter, foods, clothes and many more. On
the other hand, after getting what we need, it is natural for humans to crave more than they need
this is what we called "wants." As a result of craving more than what we need globalization
exists in a way of modification and technology. With the help of technology and modification of
our basic needs, we were able to satisfy our wants, and the cycle continuously exists.
