5. CONCLUSION

The proposed MIS is designed to handle different activities in marketing department. In this report we
have designed different system diagrams. The context level diagram is drawn which shows the
overview of system's design. The stakeholder, customer and manager are three external entities of the
context diagram. The customer information file and product information file are two data stores in
context diagram.
DFD level 0 diagram is showing different processes and data stores of the system. A decision tree is
also designed in this report for the proposed system. Different data elements are included in the report.
Input/ Output forms with IPO charts are also included.
In this course given by MOOC is help us to analyze the information system. I have learned different ways
to develop the system. I have learned concept of context diagram, DFD’s of different levels, data
dictionary and concept of I/O forms. This course helps me understand different phases of the development
of an information system.
I had a very wonderful and informative experience with this course. This course helps me to complete the
given assignment and to develop different concepts needed for the assessment. I have learned about the
context diagram of the system and how it shows an overall view of the information system.
By completing this course, I was able to understand and solve my assignment easily as this course was
very helpful for me.
