93.5

Robinson to Shami, FOUR, Robinson is going for the LBW but this is nicely flicked by Shami.
Wide of mid-wicket and it raced away. A roll of the wrists and put away in the gap

93.3

Robinson to Shami, no run, fullish just outside off, Shami is half-forward to block
93.2

Robinson to Shami, no run, given out LBW and Shami reviews successfully. Umpire Richard
Kettleborough gets one more wrong today. Similar ball to the one that got Rohit out. Shami falls
over on the flick, rapped on the pads, the impact is on leg, and HawkEye shows it to be
missing. Shami and Jadeja had a chat and were proven right in the end
93.1

Robinson to Shami, no run, Robinson suggests that it was going down, after umpire Richard
Kettleborough gave it not out. Full and sliding into the pads, Shami shuffles across, the leg-stump
is exposed as a result, struck on the pad and the ball rolls dangerously close to leg-stump as
well. England didn't go for it

impact too seems marginal. England don't go for the review. And rightly so

Robinson to Pant, out Caught by Craig Overton!! Robinson takes off the aeroplane in celebration
and has a few choice words at the departing Pant. There's no love lost between the English and
Pant. They are giving it back to him now. Pant doesn't look comfortable on these shores. Is in a
dilemma whether to attack or trust his defence. He goes while trying to do the latter, although it
must be said that this is a poor shot. Bat well away from the body, pushing out and nicking it
straight to third slip. The ball was on a length and angled across, again no need to play at that.
Pant disappoints and India now in massive strife. Pant c Craig Overton b Robinson 1(7)

Time for drinks. England's hour totally. They began with three maiden overs on the trot, although
that was not wicket-threatening at all. Then Pujara made an error by playing no shot and was
dismissed on his overnight score. Anderson seemed to have got Kohli but Rahane's intervention
saved the Indian captain on review. The joy didn't last long - after two boundaries in Robinson's
over, Kohli edged one behind. The next over Rahane nicked off. Pant does not inspire much
confidence with the bat, with his method or his form. England are well on top and Robinson to
continue after drinks.

Anderson to Rahane, out Caught by Buttler!! Rahane goes and India in trouble now. Deserved
wicket for Anderson. He leaps and roars in delight. A punch of the air with his right-fist to go with
it. The wobbling seam delivery gets him the wicket. Angled in, around the imaginary 5th stump
line, Rahane who has defended well so far, is sucked into feathering an edge through to Buttler.
The pattern of his dismissals seems to continue with no change in his fortunes. Is it time to move
on from India's vice-captain? That is for another day, but the silent whispers will get shriller by
the minute. Rahane c Buttler b Anderson 10(25) [4s-2]

Anderson to Pant, 1 run, and again. But skews a flick, to the left of mid-on and is off the mark.
The bat turned on impact and wanted to mid-on, instead of mid-wicket
90.2

Anderson to Pant, no run, what was that? First ball and Pant runs at Anderson. Don't tell me,
that's how he plays. Totally reckless. Is lucky that the ball missed the inside-edge and hit him on
the thigh pad

and is off

obinson to Kohli, out Caught by Root!! Kohli is gone. Cannot cash in on his fifty. He shadow-
practices the leave but it's too late. By then the Headingley crowd and the English contingent are
on their feet celebrating. Does anyone want to guess how he got out? Same old story. Nicking
off. Length ball outside off, straightening, didn't need to play at that, but since it was angled in, he
went for the defence and edged it high to first slip's left. His opposite number takes it well and a
distraught Kohli has to go. Head down and looking glum as he made his way back inside. After
an over full of action, Robinson gets the big wicket. Kohli c Root b Robinson 55(125) [4s-8]

Anderson stays on the ground for a while. Full and on off, Kohli just played a forward-defensive
push and it went sweet off the bat
89.4

Robinson to Kohli, no run, close to the stumps and close to the edge is Robinson. This is
angled in, but holds its line and beats Kohli on the forward push
89.3

Anderson to Kohli, no run, pardon our scorer Mukesh, he is quick and too quick for everyone's
good. What a good review that is. Rahane has to be given the credit, Kohli asked him, and the
vice-captain told him to go for it. There was a noise and umpire Alex Wharf gave it out to spark
big celebrations in the England camp. Interesting to see Kohli walk away as soon as Buttler
caught it. Rahane stopped him and then the rest is history. Wobble seam delivery that is full
outside off, Kohli goes for the drive, hits the pad with his bat, that was the noise. The ball
missed the edge and by a bit too. Big moment!

86.3

Anderson to Kohli, no run, loud shout for LBW and England thought about a review, finally they
don't go for it. Replays show that it was going over. The nip-backer, misses Kohli's defence, raps
him high on the back leg, the whole Test this pitch has had bounce, that saved Kohli for it was
striking him in line
86.2

Anderson to Kohli, no run, unplayable! A mirror-image to the first innings delivery that
dismissed Kohli. The wobble seam again. Thrown up full outside off, it wobbles in the air and it
pitches outside off, Kohli thinks he is in for the drive, but the ball snakes past the edge. The
crowd loved that and they are getting into it now, right behind Anderson

Robinson to Pujara, out Lbw!! No hundred for Pujara and Richard Kettleborough has to change
the decision of his. Big celebrations from the English camp after seeing the replay on the big
screen. A mental error from Pujara has cost him. This angled in fuller, towards off, Pujara planted
his front pad forward and then offered no shot, the ball came in with the angle to rap him on the
pad. HawkEye shows it to be hitting the off-stump which the umpire didn't think so. So a good
review and India lose a wicket on day 4 without adding to their overnight score. Also ends
Pujara's knock - probably his best away Test innings in a while. Looked fluent and more
importantly didn't get into a rut. Pujara lbw b Robinson 91(189) [4s-15]
