TALKING ABOUT INVENTIONS, DISCOVERIES AND PROCESSES


Sentences using the simple past tense (was/were + past participle) in the passive voice are commonly
used to talk about inventions, discoveries, literature, art, movies, and monuments (buildings). We use
the passive voice to focus attention on the invention or monument and not on who discovered or made them.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Las actividades y/o ejercicios del taller deben desarrollarse en un trabajo escrito a mano y a lápiz. Con todos sus ejercicios y puntos.
En hojas blancas, con o sin líneas o cuadriculadas (según su facilidad), pero de forma muy ordenada, clara y con normas mínimas de
presentación de un trabajo escrito.
2. Todos los puntos y sus respectivos ejercicios del taller, se deben transcribir y desarrollar en el trabajo a mano y deben responderse
de forma larga en inglés (estructuras completas), empleando las reglas y estructuras de la voz activa y pasiva en inglés, explicadas y
mostradas con ejemplo en la guía.
3. Se deben traducir al español, todas las oraciones y ejercicios desarrollados en el taller, las preguntas tipo Prueba Saber (10
preguntas de Opción Múltiple) preferiblemente que la traducción la haga después de cada oración, es decir, desarrolla el punto del
ejercicio en inglés e inmediatamente después hace la respectiva traducción en español, así mismo con las oraciones de los inventos.
4. Para ambientar y decorar el trabajo, pueden emplear las mismas imágenes del taller, en recortes de las impresiones de los mismos
talleres, otros recortes físicos o hacer los dibujos. Todo esto cuenta a la hora de la calificación del taller.
5. Los estudiantes que ingresen en la plataforma www.humbertomunozvpitalito.edu.co deben subir el trabajo escrito a mano en el módulo que corresponda. Para esto,
deben organizar las imágenes en archivo con formato PDF o desde la aplicación que disponga en su celular para esto.
6. Para desarrollar el proyecto transversal (Derechos y Deberes Ciudadanos) tendremos una información global, basada en el contexto ciudadano de los Estados Unidos,
cuyos derechos y responsabilidades ciudadanas, se asemejan en cierta medida a los de nuestro país. La evidencia del proyecto transversal (Folleto) puede ser impreso o a
mano, pero con los elementos y la información dada en esta guía de orientación y debe subirse a la plataforma en PDF.
7. Para quienes lo van a entregar en medio físico, tener en cuenta que es importante el orden y la presentación, para que su docente director (a) de grupo, en el horario
programado y coordinado con ustedes, lo reciba y pueda hacérmelo llegas. Todo el protocolo de entrega de trabajos en la institución, debe hacerse cumpliendo las
recomendaciones básicas de bioseguridad, conocidas por todos.
