Drama Behaviour Management Plan

Set Expectations
 Refer back to Drama Anagram (7 & 8) and 3 Rules (Reception to
Year 6)
 Present and Rehearse Attention signal –
o (Pre-prep) Clap call and response + Tamborine
o (Juniors) Rain maker = sit down / Tamborine Freeze
o (5 & 6) Rain Maker = sit down /
o (Seniors)
 Entering the lesson: in silence, create standing circle
 Leaving the lesson: plenary line up

Positive Praise
 Give frequent verbal praise for
o Good work
o Positive attitude/ participation
 Boy’s write their name on the board for plus points
 (Year 1 & 2) Give planet points
 (Reception) Give marbles throughout the lesson / end of lesson
awards

Sanctions
 Warning - Explain what rule the have broken. Give a warning
 Exclusion – temporarily remove from activity
 Discuss – Why they were removed, what needs to change.
Question - is there anything stopping you from participating as
expected? Request an apology (to teacher and class)
 Escalate – Contact tutor/ Light corridor (if behaviour is repeated)
