Apolinario Mabini: Ang Dakilang Lumpo at Utak ng Rebolusyon Si Apolinario Mabini y Maranan o

mas kilala na Apolinario Mabini ay isang Pilipinong pilosopo at teoretista na nagsulat ng


konstitusyon ng Unang republika ng Pilipinas. Siya ang kauna-unahang punong ministro ng
bansa at kilala bilang ang Dakilang Lumpo. Si Apolinario ay ipinanganak noong July 23, 1864 sa
Talaga, Tanauan, Batangas nina Inocencio Mabini at Dionisia Maranan. Mahirap lamang ang
pamilya ni Mabini na ang pangunahing kabuhayan ay ang pagsasaka. Noong 1881, Si Mabini ay
nakatanggap ng scholarship at nag-aral sa Colegio de San Juan de Letran na kung saan
nakapagtapos sya ng Bachelor of Arts at naging propesor sa Latin. Bagamat nais ng kanyang ina
na siyay maging pari ay kinuha ang kursong abogasiya sa Unibersidad ng Santo Tomas at
nagtapos noong 1894 ...

1903) was a Filipino revolutonary
leader, educator, lawyer, and
statesman who served first as a
legal and
consttutonal adviser to the
Revolutonary Government, and
then as the first Prime Minister of
the
Philippines upon the establishment
of the First Philippine Republic.
He is regarded as the "utak ng
himagsikan" or "brain of the
revoluton".
Two of his works, El Verdadero
Decalogo (The True Decalogue,
June 24, 1898), and Programa
Consttucional dela Republica
Filipina (The Consttutonal
Program of the Philippine
Republic, 1898)
became instrumental in the
drafting of what would eventually
be known as the Malolos
Consttuton.[2]
Mabini performed all his
revolutonary and governmental
actvites despite having lost the use
of both
his legs to polio[3] shortly before
the Philippine Revoluton of 1896.
Mabini's role in Philippine history
saw him confrontng first Spanish
colonial rule in the opening days of
the Philippine Revoluton, and then
American colonial rule in the days
of the Philippine–American War.
The latter saw Mabini captured
and exiled to Guam by American
colonial authorites, allowed to
return
only two months before his
eventual death in May 1903.
