Simple Do’s • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing • Clean surfaces with antiseptic solutions such as Lysol containing hydrogen peroxide or benzalkonium chloride • Wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms like cough, cold • Cook your food and especially meat/ poultry properly • If you have fever, cough and difficulty in breathing, report to Kasturba hospital immediately for check up • Health Care Workers should use personal protective equipment like gloves and masks

Don’ts • Don’t visit crowded places like malls, markets, cinema theatres • Wear protective masks in such conditions • Don’t touch your face with unwashed hands • Avoid close contact with a person having cold or flu-like symptoms • Avoid direct contact with animals and surfaces in contact with animals when visiting live Stock • Do not consume uncooked and raw meat
