TRIANGLES

A triangle is a plane figure consisting of three line segments. The sum of the interior angles
of a triangle is always 180 degrees. There are four kinds of triangles, namely, equilateral, isosceles,
scalene, and right triangles.

Equilateral triangle – a triangle with all sides and angles equal. To draw an equilateral
triangle, follow these steps:

a. Draw line AB.


b. Draw arc BC using point A as the center and line AB as the radius.
c. Draw another arc intersecting BC using point B as the center and line AB as the radius.
d. Locate point D.
e. Connect point A to point D, and point B to point D.
