Why is a layout plan necessary in a food processing area industry?
Thus, it becomes a key factor of concern, and layout design should essentially help to prevent
direct and cross contamination of the products being manufactured. Hence, the layouts of the food
processing factories have to be designed to meet food safety requirements on top of production
efficiency.
