NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE INTERIM GUIDELINES FOR ASSESMENT AND

GRADING IN LIGHT OF THE BASIC EDUCATION LEARNING CONTINUITY
PLAN

In line with the DepEd Order No.031s.2020 Banga Elementary School

conducted Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session via Google Meet to discussed
the Interim Guidelines for Assessment and Grading in the Light of the Basic
Education Learning Continuity Plan as DepEd pursues learning continuity
and it is imperative for schools to take stock of assessment and grading
practices that will most meaningfully support learner development and
respond to various context at this time.
The online session started at exactly 12:45 PM in the afternoon. It was
graced by the national anthem and followed by the prayer lead by Mrs.Vilma
Binwag followed by the opening message given by the school principal III
Mrs.Nora J.Adriano which she emphasize the importance of embracing new
normal in teaching and learning ensuring learning continuity while looking
after the health ,safety and wellbeing of its learners, teachers and personnel.
The first discussant was Mrs.Sarah Alcoreza which she discussed the
rationale of the DepEd Order No.031 s. 2020 as stated that teachers and
parents must adapt to alternative learning modalities
