Question 1:

Floods are natural effects that occur throughout the time of the year, they are caused mainly in
places where they are near rivers, since when it rains they overflow and the town or place is like a
pool, and the consequences of this , is that many people remain homeless, this is commonly a
consequence of flooding.

Tornadoes are caused by winds, which are formed or concentrated as in one place and move, it is
like a kind of hurricane and it causes many disasters.

They also affect people, because they can leave them homeless.

The landslides, I think they are created by the discharges of water from the rivers, or they can also
be caused by the rain.

Droughts occur in places like where the sun beats hardest, and there are few rains in the year, this
can usually cause malnutrition and many diseases to the people who live there, since the water
avoids that, but like them It is difficult for them to have water, so they start to suffer from this.

And hurricanes are like tornadoes, but stronger, this disaster is usually through the air, it moves
the trees a lot and manages to break like windows. This is very present in the country of Mexico.

It causes damage to houses and warehouses, public places, when a hurricane hits, people close
everything, to avoid damaging so many things.

This can last more than a day, because I have seen cases that last almost three days, and it can be
very dangerous to be outside your home with a hurricane, and it manages to be at a great
distance.

Question 2:

Some ways that people can prepare for an emergency, is: if the emergency requires fire, have a
fire extinguisher on hand, for example in the car they should have a suitcase with clothes and how
to have food without damage, also an extinguisher, a flashlight, a first aid kit, an emergency or
spare tire in case a tire goes flat, and I think this is what you need for an emergency, but if you are
in the car.

Since emergencies it depends on where you are and it also depends on the type of emergency. But
in any emergency, one should always have a first aid kit, in case someone is injured, and also have
experience to act in emergency situations.

For example, if the emergency is of a tremor, one should go crouching down and with the hands
on the head, to avoid that something falls on the head.

People must, as always, be anticipated and prepared for any type of emergency, taking into
account the things that you name above.
