Some people hold a belief that zoos play an important role in

protecting wild animals and others argue that it is unnecessary and cruel
to keep these animals in cages and lock up in such places. And in my
oppinion, I agree with the statement that zoos should be shut down .
To begin with, it is undeniable that zoos are beneficial in
several ways . It help to protect and preserve endanger species by
keeping them safe from the hunter or the other threats outside the cages.
So that we can focus on boosting the population of these species and
prevent them from being extinct. Moreover, by opening the zoos for the
tourists and the local people, they can easily learn more about the world
around them and this can help to raise awareness amongst the public in
order to help preserve certain species.
On the other hand, it is clearly that zoos will change their
habitats and some of these are locked down just for the entertainment of
the visitors. It may be fun and educational when everyone watch them
closely but the zoos are opened to protect the animals and endanger
species, why we don’t bring these animals to the wild life parks where
they have more freedom.
In summary, animals should be protected but not for
entertainment or economic. Although it may provide some positive
impacts, I still think that it do more harm to the animals.
