I. Recommendation Report: Retaining Employees. An employer for whom you worked

last year regarded you highly. Although you are no longer employed there, this individual

called to ask your candid opinion on how to retain employees. He is concerned about the

high rate of turnover. What advice can you offer? How do similar businesses recruit and

their employees?

Your Task. Write a recommendation report with your suggestions for retaining

employees.

Use letter format and organize your remarks under a number of descriptive headings,

such as “Problem,” “Possible Causes.” And “Suggestions for Returning Staff.” Add any

other
necessary pieces of information for your report.

Dear Mr. Payne,

Good morning.
Any businesses should build a valuable reason for keeping the employee. Bearing the fact

that they should provide a good impression and denotes the work done by a mere

employee. Observing the world today everything must be done by fists and must be

observe manly. Protecting the life of individual who devotes their precious life for the

company’s sake. As far as we can go employees are the reasons why a certain company

works and lasts. Without them a company will no longer be said as a company itself.

 Every employee expects a high salary and that is mostly the reason why they are

quitting. Retaining an employee can be a problem especially when an employee

excerpts of having a high salary that is originally beyond the company’s


expectations. Considering the problems arises in this dilemma every person

preserves more financially.

 Competition is not exempted in an organization. There are a lot of ways on how

the other parties lure an important employee of yours. Consider on how they value

the life of an employee and provides a valid reason for that employee choose the

other side.

 Every employee wants their works to be recognized and much appreciated. These

could boost their self esteem to do the work more without force. If not, these could

be the reason for them to stop working in your company.

 An employee does have an important matter in life. Yes, work and private life

should be taken separately. In case of giving an opportunity for them to give time

to their love ones without further considerations, these may help them to be

comfortable. If not, this could lead them to find for a better job opportunity that

value the employees wants and needs.

As far as I know there are a lot of cautious problem why such employee refuses to stay in

the company. I’ve been an employee for almost 5 years and I experienced a lot of

difficulties. Some of the employer mostly give a task that is not easy to handle. There are

times that the works is from that employee and the awards was given to others, which in

higher position than us. We cannot disguise this fact. It is mostly played in the company.

If those traits will not be stop, these can create a big loss in your company. Imagine if all
the employee is aiming of having a high salary, if your company is just ignoring this

problem then you might lose someone that your company might not want to lose.

If you happen to imagine a strong film you should consider on knowing your employee’s.

Whether they are new or not you should know their financial needs and assistance. Being

fair can also help the problem in regards of keeping your valuable employees. Your

company should not only focus on one’s strength but in a whole. You should let any

employee to stand and show their preferences and stuff. Take time on having a deep talk

to them and guide them always. Your company should let any employee to be at ease

without imagining on having a high salary and etc. You should always give a task that

they can handle well.

These things I’ve uttered are just my own presumptions. The jury is in your hands. As

one of your employees before I experienced different agenda. But I was thankful that

you’ve given me the chance to be part in your company. Working in your firm examines

my prior strength and weaknesses. I was happy and sad of living. And I’d like to send a

gratitude to the leaders who found my own piece and let me go this far.
