Water Soluble Granule Fungicide
TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
DESCRIPTION:
Freshgard® 75 WSG is a water soluble granule fungicide
for post- harvest treatment of citrus.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Active Ingredient: Imazalil Sulfate (Imidazole), 750 g/kg
Physical State: Solid Granules
Color: White to Cream
Imazalil Sulfate Concentration: 965 – 1000 g/kg
Expressed as Imazalil Only: 725 – 750 g/kg
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Freshgard® 75 WSG is recommended for control of Post-
Harvest decays of citrus fruits caused by Penicillium
Digtatum (green mold) and Penicillium Italicum (blue
mold). Freshgard® 75 WSG can be used without
a wetting agent in water with a pH below 7.
APPLICATION RATES (Post-Harvest Treatments):
**DO NOT USE Freshgard® 75 WSG in Waxes**
A. WATER BATH TREATMENT
Add 670 grams Freshgard® 75 WSG to 1000 liters
of water to obtain a treatment concentration of
500 PPM Imazalil. See that fungicide is well
dissolved. Water temperature should not exceed
47°C. The drenching time is not of critical
importance.
B. NON-RECOVERY SPRAY-ON OR BRUSH-ON
Add 34 grams Freshgard® 75 WSG to 25 liters
water and mix until dissolved. This gives a
treatment concentrate of 1000
ppm Imazalil. The 25 liters Freshgard® 75 WSG
solution must be used to treat not more than
17000 kg of fruit.
Do not rinse fruit after treatment. These treatments will
also result in good sporulation control.
PACKAGING / SHELF LIFE / STORAGE:
 Packaging: 670 gram container.
 Shelf-Life: in a closed container, two years from
the date of manufacture.
 Storage Condition: not less than 5°C or above
35°C.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
Storage: Protect container from heat, freezing, and
physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep
container closed.
Waste Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of
this product may be disposed of on site or at an
approved waste disposal facility in accordance with all
country-specific environmental regulations. Because
regulations vary by location and may change, the
appropriate agencies should be contacted before
disposal.
Container Disposal: Triple rinse empty container with
clean water equal to 30% of the volume of the
container and add rinsing to the spray tank. Puncture
the container so it cannot be reused. Recycle
container and do not use for any other purpose.
