the basis B = {(1, 1, −1), (−1, 1, 1), (1, −1, 1)}.

Question 2 let T : <2 → <3 be defined by

T (x1 , x2 ) = (x1 , x1 + x2 , x1 − x2 ) Find the matrix of the
tansformation with respect to the standard bases
B1 = {(1, 0), (0, 1)} in <2 and
B2 = {(1, 0, 0), (0, 1, 0), (0, 0, 1)} in <3 .

Question 3 Let T : R3 → R3 be given by its action on

the basis vectors {(1, 1, 1), (1, −1, 1), (1, 0, −1)} as
under.
T (1, 1, 1) = (0, 1, 1), T (1, −1, 1) = (1, −1, −1), T (1, 0, −1) = (2, 0, 0)
Find T (2, 0, 2), T (−1, 1, 1), T (2, 2, 1).

Question 4 Let T : R3 → R3 be defined as in Q3.
