 CHAPTER ONE:
Introduction:
In the recent times, the whole world is going through a huge deadly pandemic that is Covid-
19. This deadly virus was first found in Chinese person in December 2019 and after that day
the cases in Covid-19 patients continued to increase. Up till now this world faced three waves
of Covid-19 and each wave proved to be dangerous than the previous one. Soon research
community reacted rapidly to the emergence of Covid-19. Researchers and doctors played their
parts and started to work on the vaccine (Mahir Fidahir, 2020). With the help of technology
and science, researchers and doctors were successful in formulating the vaccine which is now
widely distributed across whole world in the second and third wave. It is now compulsory for
people to get vaccinated. The main issue arises as the government of various countries are
finding hard to manage people at a large scale. They cannot have the full track of people and
their vaccination data. Secondly one person cannot identify if the other fellow person is
vaccinated or not. In this modern era apps were created to have a Covid-19 patient’s track, but
those applications lack various features such as following:

1.1 Hard to identify covid-19 negative/positive tests and vaccination track:

If there is count in the cases of the world, there are 175 million active cases currently (WHO,
2021). As the virus cannot be seen with naked eyes and because of that when people roam
around in the public, people cannot identify that which person is covid positive and which
person is covid negative. The full proper track of covid-19 patients cannot be measured.

1.2 Hard to identify hotspot areas:

One of the numerous issues that the coronavirus has brought with it is the inability to predict
where the sickness will spread. People frequented numerous busy venues during the
commencement of the illness since they did not grasp what was going on. This is a result of the
fact that there were a huge number of infected and dead people around the world (Sujoy
Banerjee, 2020).
1.3 Lack of online medical tests or PCR tests:
During the pandemic there is shortages of doctors and medical devices a burning issue. As the
virus is spreading vastly the number of doctors is not efficient right now also some are getting
sick by this virus. It estimates that 57 countries have an absolute shortage of 2.3 million
physician nurses and midwives also FDA published that during this health emergency high-
quality medical devices are insufficient. It has some key features digital dashboard for live case
tracking, electronic report. NTT now operating more health facilities in the hospitals also they
are allowing free consultation (NTT Data, 2021). As many countries doctor started taking
vaccine but still, they are getting positive by virus. However, by giving treatment face to face
we are also putting doctor’s life in danger. So, the world needs to think about taking online
treatment through app which called telemedicine. Only this idea can reduce lack of doctors and
medical devices.

1.4 Unable to check body temperature through camera:

Coughing, sneezing, speaking, singing, and breathing may disperse the virus from an infected person's
mouth or nose in tiny liquid particles. Larger nasal droplets and lighter aerosols are among the spores.
According to current data, the virus spreads mostly between individuals who are in near proximity to
one another, usually within 1 meter (short-range). When virus-containing aerosols or droplets are
inhaled or come into close contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth, an individual may become infected.
The infection may also spread in cramped and/or poorly ventilated indoor environments, where people
prefer to spend longer periods of time. This is since aerosols stay trapped in the air or fly more than one
meter (long-range). People may also get infected by contacting objects polluted by the virus without
washing their hands before touching their eyes, nose, or mouth (Coronavirus disease (WHO, 2021).

1.5 Lacks travel advisory:

The aviation sector has been significantly impacted by Covid-19's unanticipated and extreme
impacts. Many issues need to be addressed and innovative solutions devised in terms of dealing
with the new scenario and alleviate the health and economic implications. This is especially
true of operational rules and procedures (Guest Author, 2020).

In the light of above discussion, the major issue is the spread and outbreak of COVID-19
through airports, as there are still many operating flights. This spread can be outrageous as
most of the airports do not have proper precautionary measures in handling processes like
temperature checking, checking of health certificates of passengers and to limit the number of
greeters, there are few possibilities of processes to escalate maximum social distancing while
passengers standing in queue or sitting in lounges. Both above factors result in the increased
processing time and delay of boarding, which ultimately mitigate the passenger’s flow.
 CHAPTER TWO
Introduction to proposed solution:
After doing complete study on the following issues, being an entrepreneur, the group created
their own digital application regarding on going pandemic which contains all the features that
were missing in the previous applications. This group application is called Covid Detectx and
it solves all the above mentioned issues. It is free of cost and is available all over the world.
Users can download this application on both Android and iOS easily. Here group present the
following solutions of issues that our application will solve.

2.1 Solution for: Hard to identify covid-19 negative/positive tests and

vaccination track:
To keep a track record of which person is vaccinated or not, the group must create a digital
solution or app for it to avoid interaction between people, doctors, and government. In this
application group will design and add the feature of tracking people specifically that who is
positive and who is negative. The group will create a feature that when a person gets tested in
a lab and when his/her result came out, if its negative it will show the bio of that person in
negative folder and a positive person’s bio will be shown in positive folder. This application
contains a camera feature which can point out that who is covid positive or negative in public.
Secondly by the same process which group gave above everyone who got his covid vaccine
shots will also be registered in this application and by doing the same, pointing out a camera
towards anyone or by entering the name and national identity number of the person in the
designated form doctors, police or any general person can get his information that he is
vaccinated or not.

2.2 Solution for: Hard to identify hotspot areas:

Technology, or more specifically, mobile applications, is the digital solution to this dilemma.
Humanity has become accustomed to the virus, and a variety of applications have been
developed to combat its spread. Many applications are available to assist in the tracking of viral
hotspots throughout towns and countries. The group have proposed a better mobile application
for people to constantly know where a large throng of people is at any one time, they will
construct an online application. The online program will show users how many people are at a
specific location by hours and minutes, as well as which eateries, retail malls, and even schools
and institutions are in use. It will act as a satellite, broadcasting live video from all around the
world every minute. People can use the internet program to check where they should not visit
at any time before leaving home. The group believe that this is a highly effective solution to
the virus's spread problem because a person will be informed 24/7 and will thus be able to aid
himself.

2.3 Solution for: Lack online medical tests or PCR tests:

In this new app, group want to put some new fervidity. They will add a new form through on
this app through which doctors can do few medical tests Firstly, lungs test, throat test also scan
the reports within a minute. For example, a person is suffering from covid-19 so by using this
feature doctors can give physical contact-less treatment from one place to another also can do
the test within some moment and that is how one person can give care a lot of people without
physical interaction which can alleviate effect of viruses. Secondly, they will upgrade their
PCR test system by adding a corona virus detector transparent optical device. At least between
10/15 minutes doctors can identify how much percentage he/she on risk and can give proper
treatment before the person goes in worst situation.

2.4 Solution for: Unable to check body temperature through camera:

Any challenge has a hardware or software solution. This should be a software-based approach.
The interactive alternative will be an app that allows us to use our phones' cameras to check
the area group is visiting to get information on people's body temperatures. If a perpetrator is
present, the phone will vibrate, indicating that a person with COVID 19 is present. Through
this automated approach, they will both reduce the dissemination of covid 19 and make the
planet a safer place.
2.5 Solution for: Lacks travel advisory:
There is an app to improve and expedite passengers flow while also keeping airports safe from
overcrowding. App will lead the way for travel advisory in this section. Use this app to expedite
one’s arrival and spend less time dealing with public health officials and immigration. Within
48 hours of arrival, the passenger will submit his details using the app in a simple and safe
manner. This will work in following ways.

1. Upload the relevant documents needed to enter the country.

2. Receive an E-boarding permit to reduce wait time and points of contact at the airport.
3. This app will assist in locating a passenger's personal and travel history, as well as
determining whether the traveler is from a red alert area or not.

 CHAPTER THREE
Existing Systems Review:
Although many countries have created applications through which they are monitoring their
citizens and foreigner’s record related to Covid-19 for example My Sejahtera app in Malaysia.
Every other country has their own applications for this purpose, but the group have investigated
many applications and found out that camera assistance feature which they mentioned as a
main digital solution is lacking in every other application. Through this feature everyone can
simply point out their phone cameras towards a specific person and can have his whole data
related to Covid-19. Whether it be a corona positive or negative information of a person, or a
person is vaccinated or not.

Secondly it is like Google Maps among the available programs that track hotspots. More than
1 billion people can access the covid-19 information to view on the most visited sites in a
100,000-person radius over the previous seven days. Information is gathered from a variety of
international sources and publications. Many programs, such as Trace Together and Covid
Watch, are also available. These tools are useful when users are just interested in seeing
statistics on hotspots in a country or city. Through this application a doctor and a suspected
patient can be in touch with each other through online system by which a doctor can check the
suspected patient through a video call. If the doctor has some surety that the person can be a
covid patient by seeing his condition, he can immediately tell that person to conduct a PCR test
through this application in which doctor will send a PCR test conducting team to the suspected
patient’s home to conduct a swab test. In this case the doctors and the other health workers will
be able to treat the patient without touching him. This will provide safety to health workers,
and they will safely treat the patients.

The group has added this feature in the app that a user of this app can use his camera to check
the temperature of the body of a person in the area he is visiting to make sure that he is safe
and another person around him is not ill and does not have temperature. If there will be a person
with temperature the phone will vibrate and inform the user that a Covid patient is present.
Lastly the group will include a feature of travel advisory at airports. Its users can use this feature
to see the arrival process in a specific country to reduce their timings to get cleared from
immigration process. It will also help the passengers to keep the related medical documents
with them to avoid a long physical contact with health officials. 48 hours prior to the passenger
departure application will ask the user to add his documents for a smooth bypass through the
airports.

All these features make this application Covid Detectx (fig.1) to stand out and it is a better
version of the existing application which is called My Sejahtera. In My Sejahtera app (fig.3),
the features of camera assist, navigation support of hotspot areas, online medical/PCR tests and
travel advisory lacks (Soalan Lazim, 2021). Because of these features the group came up with
these ideas to add in this application and through this they can enhance the experience of
battling this Pandemic much more easily (fig.2). In this way public, health care professionals,
police and all other relatable authorities and governments can benefit and can make their lives
very easy, and it can prevent the spread of corona by this feature very effectively.
 CHAPTER FOUR
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the group has come together to create a better version of Covid-19 detecting
application for users which will help them to keep a complete track record of this pandemic.
The group has carried out an in-depth research beforehand on what it takes for this application
to be deemed high quality and beneficial. By comparing with other existing Covid-19
applications, the group was then able to place together several useful functions that would make
the application extremely advantageous.

As health care holds such a critical role among humanity, Covid Detectx offers an all-round
system that will help those who are willing to keep track of ongoing pandemic and those who
wants to avoid health problems. This application will also guide first time users.

It is always important to follow all the SOPs in this pandemic and keep a complete track record
of Covid-19. So, for this reason, people should take advantage of this application by using it.
This application makes it possible to improve person’s life and they should use this application
to maximum. Hence the group believes that Covid Detectx is worth to be employed and would
benefit people from all walks of life.

1. Use signup option if the user has not created the account (see fig.1).
2. Use login option if the user has an account or user can login with Facebook, google
account upon his priority (see fig.1).
3. If user wants to sign up, then enter his personal details and account will be created.

6. After accepting terms and conditions user will be directed to home or dashboard page
(see fig.2).

public through camera and travel advisory (see fig.2).
