You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for
you as an example. / A continuación verá imágenes de cinco ciudades y sus
lugares representativos. Escriba un párrafo describiendo cada ciudad, el país al
que pertenece y el lugar mostrado. Use el vocabulario dentro del recuadro para

New York is a big city in the

United States (North
America). It takes thousand
of visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central
Park, the Metropolian
museum and Time’s Square.
In the picture you can see the
Statue of Liberty, a monumet
built between 1875 and 1986.
It is 93 meters tall. The statue

to visit in Italy, such as the
Colosseum in Rome, St. Peter's
Square and the Basilica, Rome
is the third European city that
attracts the most visitors, with
more than 16 million tourists a
year.
Sydney, the oldest, most
populated and modern city on
the planet, is the capital of New
South Wales, located in
southeastern Australia.
Sydney is part of the best tourist
places in Australia, in the vicinity
of the port you will find the
Sydney Opera House, Darling
Harbor, Sydney Harbor Bridge
and the Royal Botanic Gardens,
Sydney Bay, The Great Barrier
Coral, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National
Park, Blue Mountains National
Park
The Scottish capital is one of the
most special cities in Europe.
Edinburgh is a place full of
charm, full of narrow cobbled
alleys, dark corners that were
the scene of the most terrible
stories, beautiful buildings and
gardens, an infinity of interesting
museums with free admission,
you can also visit, Edinburgh
Castle, Water of Leithun, a very
attractive trendy neighborhood.
Its many bars and restaurants
as curious as the Nobles or the
King's Wark, the central hill of
Calton Hill; etc
 Dubai is a jewel city within the
seven United Arab Emirates. It
is located on the southeastern
coast of the Persian Gulf. In
Dubai you can go on a Safari
through the desert Gold Souk It
is a market located in Bur Dubai
Sheikh's Palace, Ski Dubai and
visit the Jumeirah Mosque.

When you finish your work, send the file to your instructor through the platform
