What's destroying the young people: They're afraid because their survival is based on what

others can do for them. They learn one skill, and then they can do nothing else.

This is the problem with the young people. This is why they are afraid, and foolish. They go to school,
and they get good at one thing, and that is the only thing they can do. If what they've learned loses its
value, they have nothing to trade for money, and they are kicked out of society. All this anxiety, and
fear, and foolishness in the young people is caused by a lack of skills, and the ability to make.

If you look at the older generations of people they were much stronger because they did things
themselves. If your pipe busted in your home, you wouldn't call the plumber right away, you'd first try
to fix it. If your car was damaged you'd fix it. If you needed a costume for Halloween, your mother
would make you a costume. If you needed clothes, your mother would make you clothes, and you'd
learn to sew, too. Mother was the one who cooked you food. She didn't order food from a restaurant.

And many men were out in the field, planting seeds, and making food grow. They were raising animals,
and creating sustenance. People used to cut down trees, and make their own furniture. You once needed
society for only a few things. Other people were there to help but they weren't a permanent crutch.

The problem with young people today is they don't know how to survive on their own. They are a
master of one, and if that fails, they're totally screwed. They're carrying anxiety, and fear with them all
the time because if one thing goes wrong, they are out on the street. That's totally different than the
many generations that came before, who could make their own things, and survive with very little help.
They were strong because of their skills, and their ability to make, and create. They had confidence in
themselves because of what they could do.

Now, people are spending their whole lives in school, getting into piles of debt, living in fear, and then
totally crashing, and burning when they hit a bump on the road. Because they have one skill, maybe
two if they're lucky.

If you want your kids to be strong teach them the basics. Teach them that they are in control of their
own destinies, and survival. Teach them skills that will make them appreciate their own intellect. Teach
them to hunt, and fish. Teach them how to live off the land. Teach them how to make, and create. Teach
them gardening, sewing, cooking, carpentry, and all those things that make you feel like you can stand
on your own two feet.

Don't give them modern culture. You see today's kids? Today's young people? They are consumers.
They do one thing for money, and then everything else is bought, and consumed. But the people with
the most satisfactory lives can do things for themselves. They can make, they can create, and they can
fix. They are strong, and confident because of their numerous abilities. And the strong, and confident
can succeed.
