ORDINARY RANKS

Non-commissioned officers usually obtain their


position of authority by promotion through the
ordinary ranks or “school boy” ranks.

The rank of Non-Commissioned Officer, generally


TTCF TTCF refered to as NCO is the stage where a cadet is
Senior Air Cadet Corporal taught and develops leadership skills.

This is where an NCO is given the opportunity to
take responsibility for a small group of cadets.

A blue sash is worn together with the rank insignia,


for NCOs who have attained the rank of Sergeant to
Cadet Warrant Officer Class2

At tthese ranks the responsibility and authority is


greater than that of the lower ranks.
