Crewmember

Flight Crewmember

Co-Pilot
Is the function of a pilot, who works in a team with the PIC and
other flight crewmembers during the operation of a flight (in the
AFL is ranked as Pilot 2, Pilot 3, and Pilot 4).

o First Officer (FO)
o Captain (RHS)

Flight Attendant – 1 (FA-1)
Responsible to PIC for duties concerning passenger safety,
security and comfort as prescribed in the applicable regulations
and standards of the company, in addition to the passenger
service related duties as required by VP Passenger Services.

Who Can be FA-1?


o FSM
o Senior FA

o If there are more than one FSM in a Sector, FA-1 is determined


by seniority in that position (Date of Joint Category), otherwise
by PIC based on considerations of leadership and lengths of
experienced as a supervisor.

Crew Qualification
1. Qualifications that are awarded or renewed by undergoing and
successfully completing a set of ground training activities such as
classroom training and simulator training, or by completing a
combination of ground training and flight training.
Examples: Fleet Type Rating, Line Check, Base Check, Language

2. Qualifications that are awarded or renewed by completing a flight.


Examples: Take-off and Landing Recency, Airport Recency, Area
Recency, Fleet Type Recency for Flight Attendants

3. Qualifications that are awarded or renewed by obtaining valid


documents.
Examples: Passport, Visa, Medical Document
