Well becoming an HR manager is a dream of many, from point of view of professional life.

workplace, hiring, recruitment, planning, controlling, organizing, leading and many more.

Education

Earning a degree in Related Field

According to the world statistics, the requirement for becoming an HR manager at an entry level
is bachelor’s degree. Similarly, for higher level, you require to have a master’s degree in human
resource or any related field such as finance, supply chain, public relations etc.

Filling the internship requirement

Internship is associated with your degree and is not necessarily the requirement for the HR
managerial position. An intern is going to have real world work experience along with the credit
hours helping in the future for HR position.

Gaining certifications for additional privileges

There are thousands of courses offered by different institutes related to HR which help gain
certification and add certain privileges in qualifying for HR managerial position. Do consider
doing such certification for gaining competitive advantage!

Experience

Gaining an experience in the relevant field

One cannot jump into a very responsible position based on his/her education and certification
only, he has to have work experience in real life to qualify for such a big position. Such work
experience includes lower to middle managers work experience in recruitment, selection, other
HR functions etc.

Applying for Managerial Position

Once you have completed all the essential criteria for HR manager’s position, now is the time to
apply for your dream position. You have now more chances of acceptance because of the
privileges that you have gained as explained above. If there is a possibility of rejection, never be

Considering job-fit
