This document summarizes a study that tested using reinforced reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and wet mix macadam (WMM) mixtures in flexible pavement construction. Laboratory model tests were conducted placing unreinforced WMM and a reinforced mixture of 50% RAP and 50% WMM on soft marine clay, with polymer geogrid, polymer geocells, bamboo geogrid and bamboo geocells as reinforcements. The load bearing capacity of the reinforced RAP and WMM mixture was observed to be greater than that of unreinforced WMM.

Abstract
In this present research, series of laboratory model tests were
carried out using unreinforced Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) and reinforced RAP + WMM (50:50) placed on soft marine clay bed to study its load settlement characteristics. Polymer geogrid, Polymer geocells, Bamboo geogrid and Bamboo geocells were used as reinforcements in mixture of RAP + WMM (50:50).
