THE GREAT IMPERIUM

In a distant continental island somewhere in the western hemisphere, there is a kingdom

called New Galicia that was founded 1,300 years ago that unified the North and South lands by
the Great Warrior Kali Zybysko by its old codename Bisko. A place that is considered a paradise
haven due to the fauna and flora with minerals underneath with its soil. The country comprises
the majority of the island, and there is a Free City was called Milesville on the southeast coast
that independently ruled from the kingdom and they are also members of the World Government.
The official languages are English, French, and Spanish with the native indigenous languages
from the tribes of the Highlands. King Max V is the incumbent head of state and the 109th King
of the Galicians under the 700-year rule of the House of Bentham succeeded his father Leo XIV
with his wife, Queen Rica is known as the Pretty Queen who was the age 48, and heir apparent
Prince John who in the future as John XIV. But due to the extravagance of the elite members of
the society. The King was a tall man with 6’2 in height, in his age was 55 with fair-complexion,
he enjoys a lot of luxury with selfish demands, a fine person when showed up know that some
people know have a sinister attitude for the sake of the survival of his bloodline with Max I the
Great, his great ancestor and founder of the current dynasty.

On one summer day in the Palace known as July Palace, the King was prepared for his banquet

As the Road to Banquet Countdown goes by, the pro-independence groups have secretly met
in the Archbishop’s Palace with the event initiated by the Catholic Church since they are the only
well-known organization to have sanctuary refuge in their grounds and predominantly faith in
the country with 90.2% adherents. The Orthodox Churches have offered the same thing which
the groups appreciated and accepted the offers in the case of full-scale revolution takes place.
The National Party, Progressive Party, Federal Democratic Party, and Social Freedom Party have
representatives to attend the meeting and they discussed a lot of social issues and the future of
the Division Plan whereas the kingdom divide into 3 countries after the revolution to be

discrimination in their communities as expected because of the nonsense paranoia from the
cronies of the King.
 The chain of events are seen as an opportunity for pro-democracy advocates due to they want
to divide the country into 3 parts with the Free City to maintain its autonomy status and the
kingdom will be shrunk into its historical borders 700 years ago. They are prepared for the
biggest war that the country will be seen since the Global Wars happened decades ago. The King
and his royal cronies are not fully aware of what will happen soon even they have Imperium Pol.
The Royal secret intelligence agency collects data from many countries and to secure its interest
as the King expresses and said “I am happy that I will secure everything that I have!” and
eliminates the persons or groups against or block his way to retain his absolute or godly power.

His heir apparent was not feeling well about his father’s plan and he knows that there will be
severe consequences for the country due to he received the secret plans of the pro-democracy
figures that they have a revolution takes place in 3 days after the Banquet Night. He openly
supports them and the division plan as well. He promised that when will be the King, all their
aims will be granted, and make sure the country will respect the new nations will emerge and
helped them to recover from his father’s draconian motives. He vows for the people there will be
great changes against the cancers of the society. He talks to the international news outlets about
the future of the country and when his father learn about that, he was warned by:

The King: “If my son cannot shut his mouth, I will be the one who punishes him and I don’t
want him to gain sympathy from those people. This throne is mine! I will never get him my
way!”

The Prince reacts calmly and he stood firmly for what he said. He had his motto “Strong and
Free”. He calls for the people to be united and show support for those public servants who have
decency.

The Prince: “It symbolized that the country must be strong at all times and let the people have
freedom for their rights and not feeling that they are shackled in chains. The new dawn in the
country will happen shortly. The time is ticking down.” he concluded.

Many people praising his advocacy to change the system under the New Initiative Reforms that
his father, the King cannot do due to his ignorance, negligence, and selfishness with corruptive
attitude towards the society especially the unmarginalized sectors. Meanwhile at the Grand
Palace. Few hours left before the Banquet will begin, the King is so excited that this is the day he
waiting for. He gets most of the things he wanted during his reign except for Royal Harem that

 The other members of the Royal Family including the Heir Prince are not feeling well about

countries and take refuge with the help of their officials or the secluded monasteries we know. I

His Highness, Max V of New Galicia.

He comes down the stairs facing the guests in the Hall and he speaks.

The King: “I, Max, the King of New Galicia from the House of Bentham with my titular styles:
The Protector of the Three Towers, Custodian of Two Holy Papal Churches, Guardian of the
Blue Mountain, Defender of the Christian Faith, The Pillar of the Poor, Emissary of Justice, The
Grand Prince of Middleburg, The Hero of Pillow Hills, Duke of Lunashire, Marquess of Borland,
Earl of Yellowshire, Count of Montefalco, the Knight of White Plains, Baron Emeritus,
Chancellor of Mazaredo and Spirit of the Nation. It is pleasure to meet you all and enjoy the
evening.”

The guests have clap of applause with wine toast and the celebration has started with a dancing
ballroom style and with some luxurious dishes full of chauffeurs serving them at each assigned
table. Little did they know that some pro-independence separatists have entered due to their

using Christianity for political gain, mind conditioning to the Royalists, cheating affair with
another woman, overspending the public taxes, negligence for the poor, and let the country

called The Battle of the Grand Palace or The Bash in the Social Hall. A few minutes later after
the incident, the dissidents have taken over major cities and towns and also the state-controlled
companies and government agencies. The major national media outlets are spared since they
want to broadcast what really happen but the Royalist forces want to take over them as a
counterattack for occupied the State-controlled properties.
 The major Catholic groups are now protecting all Churches as the Archbishops give them
blessings to protect and defend it for the faith. Other Pro-Independence members are now
protecting the other houses of worship to destroy by the state forces. They have been clashing for
7 days as the King was so pissed off of what happened sees it as a fatal blow in his face that learn
that his Heir Prince was the leader of the Pro-Independence for the division of the Kingdom into
three countries. He sees it as treason and creating succession crisis eventually political one due to
the many of the members of the House of Nobles have fled the country to other countries in
many parts of the world to seek asylum and refuge for good and many of the Royalist members
of the House of representatives are resigned and fled as well.

Many world leaders and other prominent figures have expressed peaceful solutions and end the
revolution immediately as soon as possible. The Pope has expressed solidarity to the people of
New Galicia and prayers for the safety and the future of the kingdom, as well as the His
Holiness, mentioned during the Papal Masses in the Holy See. This revolution is cannot be
reversed at some sort as the people fueled by hate and struggle for change.

The aims of the revolutionaries or pro-independence supporters are:

● Overthrown King Max V in his position and replace by Heir Prince John.
● Divided the Kingdom into 3 independent states as New Galicia will be reduced to its
medieval borders but with some economic concessions of the land added by few square
kilometers.
● The House of Nobles will be replaced by Senate as the upper house.
● The Constitution of New Galicia will be rewritten and approved by the voters in the
national referendum.
● The new two countries will be in effect by holding an independence referendum with
mediation from a representative from the World Government. Namely Borland and
Mazaredo.
● Taxing the Christian Churches with 20% revenue to every 3 sovereign states involved in
the agreement. Freedom of Religion will remain in effect despite the imposition of the
new rule must be approved by both chambers of the National Assembly.
● ⅔ of each chamber ratified the agreements.
● Lifting the restrictions for the Freedom of Information Act.
● More access in the internet connection and every town and city have strong signal and
free access to all.
● Approval of the laws regarding sexual orientation equality.
● Have freedom press in every communication medium available.
● Free Tuition for High School and College and lower the inflation rate.
● Open the countries’ economies in the world trade and membership in the international
organization for peace and cooperation purposes.
 The aims are well-received by the public but not the King himself due to he wanted censorship

possible. However, it cannot be reversed and turned back in the old way. But he failed as the
dissidents have controlled already those so the information will spread to the world for the
awareness of the situation. The fighting has continued for days with nearly hundreds are died due
to the aggressive approach of the King with wanted to announce he will declare Martial Law and
suspension of Habeas Corpus to capture the dissidents and its supporters. The public remains
supportive and trusts the dissidents due to the same goal they have and they never give up at still.
The diplomats and consuls of each embassy and consulates are evacuated but before this happens
they announced that mandatory evacuation of their citizens as much as possible as the airlines
have arrived in Gregorio de Pais International Airport named after one of the country’s national
heroes and statesman, that has 5 terminals as the domestic flights have been suspended but
international flights are the only allowed to be served for those passengers are escaping the war-

of the Free City for shelter in the Tent Cities temporarily.

The Heir Prince was not surrendered yet in his aims for the future. His determination and full
of guts to fight the Royalists under his father, he never backs down to make sure his siblings and
his mother are alright in the monastery guarded by his staff and guards with the help of the

Middleburg in the triangle area between the three regions.

The Prince was also call-out his father for a Waterloo-style battle and which he agreed that
tomorrow morning will begin as they mobilized their troops and they agreed that the location
will happen between Santa Ana Plains and the outskirts of Galicia City, the old capital. This is
All Out War between them, for the country, and the future. Many observers have waited in this

Heir Prince: I will make sure that you gonna surrendered by not taking that option.
The King: Hahaahahah stupid. You will never win this battle and I will eliminate every single of
you. You are a piece of crap that regrets his decision for the rest of his life.
The King: Le Grande Armee. Prepare your arms to attack!
King and Prince: Let the Battle will begin!

The cannons of two sides are starting to launch attacks thus the battlefield was becoming
smoky since the use of gunpowder covers the main field. They are using early modern firearms
only as part of their agreement the day before. Additionally, they have used also banners and
flags. The battle is notably known as the only use of such arms in a traditional way in modern era
warfare.

The battle had begun aggressively since the two sides have to clash for the future of the

revolution and proper burials are prepared as well. The two armies have ready to launch their
moves like a game of chess as they do not end the results in a stalemate. There will be the last
man standing and it is considered that as the game-changing scenario. The two armies are
starting to move and clashing each other as well. The plains have soaked in blood as the voices
where disappeared every second as the King and the Prince fight in swordsmanship, the King
uses two-sword style to fight the Prince’s forces and cruelly slaughtered along the way to fight
his son.

For the 10 hours of the Battle of the Plains, exhaustion, and desertion is the biggest challenges
yet on both sides. The Prince gains the upper hand to control the situation to make sure their
morals will not be crushed. As they see the chance to defeat his father and his armies. Both of
them are bloody soaked due to their wounds as they using swords inherited from their ancestors
as symbols of honor, dignity, and leadership. As exhausted due to lack of water and food in the
intense fighting, the two have exchange conversations and they exclaim:

The King: This is the end for you. My child! Remember that whoever wins in a battle, that is
justice to be served and dictate the future.

at my side and change the country for good. For the new generations, they see a country that they

The King: Hahaha you silly goose. I am the real justice in this country! You have just to submit
to me and you will beg me for my mercy.
Heir Prince: Enough is enough. I will stand and deliver for the country. Defend the weak,
protect both young and old, never desert your friends and family. Give justice to all, be fearless
in battle, and always ready to defend the right.

They have clashed again with intense aura as each army describes something there is a beast
unlocked in their persona and feel the eerie vibes to them. The soldiers are wounded, calling help

At the southeast portion of the Plains, the soldiers of the World Navy headed by the Admiral
ordered the Navy Units stationed and assigned that does not intervene in the internal conflict.

bloodshed and the world is watching upon us. I will allow you to take in the hospital and you
will face criminal charges at the trial by the International Court of Justice. No immunity will be
given to you and the prosecution is prosecution. Your trial will serve as justice for the victims

The aftermath effects are listed chronologically down below:

● The cronies of the King were arrested by the Cipher Pol’s cooperation in many parts of
the world and many of them have sentences life imprisonment.

and health care systems were improved.
 ● The political dynasties were strictly forbidden, equality rights laws were revised.
● The religious affairs were co-handled by both Church and State for minimizing the
abuses and unfair treatment with no tolerance. The other faiths are subject to this rule
with special arrangements and cooperation.
● The Heir Prince was announced as the new king and the coronation will happen after 5
Day National Mourning Period for those who died during the war. But rescheduled for 90
days to make sure the country was recovered.

● Internal reorganization in every government post including the abolishment of the House
of Nobles replaced by democratically elected Senate and revision of membership in the

of Mazaredo with general elections held and inaugurated their first presidents. They both

majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate after they are approved
by two-thirds of the voters in New Galicia in a referendum 90 days after the war.
● The new King announced that New Galicia was no longer a constitutional monarchy and
instead will be known as The Crowned Republic of New Galicia. A crowned republic is
an informal term that has been used to refer to a system of monarchy where the monarch's
role may be seen as almost entirely ceremonial and where nearly all of the royal
prerogatives are exercised in such a way that the monarch personally has little discretion
over the executive and constitutional issues.

It has been 90 days since the war broke out. The new King John is happy to see that the
country was immediately recovered from the war in which many countries are stunned in their
progress. Now he was ready to be coronated as the new Sovereign as John XIV. He finds himself
he was no heir to succeed. But during his time as Heir Prince, he was dating a commoner and

The coronation was widely televised all over the world. Many representatives from many
countries and some religious leaders are attending the ceremony in the Cathedral of Saint James
the Great Apostle to witness a new era of prosperity and peace in the country. The leaders of
Free City, Borland, and Mazaredo are attended as well and also members of the National
Assembly. Before the entrance of the sovereign, the litany of the saints is sung during the
procession of the clergy and other dignitaries. For the entrance of the monarch, Psalm 118,
Hymn of Thanksgiving is sung.

The sovereign enters Westminster Abbey wearing the crimson surcoat and the Robe of State
of red velvet and takes his or her seat on a Chair of the Estate. Principal King of Arms, the
Archbishop of Middleburg, the Grand Chancellor, the Lord Great Chamberlain, the Lord High
Constable, and the Earl Marshal go to the east, south, west, and north of the coronation theatre.
At each side, the archbishop calls for the recognition of the sovereign, with the words,

The Archbishop: Sirs, I here present unto you [John], your undoubted King. Wherefore all you
who are come this day to do your homage and service, are you willing to do the same?

The oath has been modified without statutory authority; the exchange between the King and the
Archbishop of Middleburg was as follows:

The Archbishop: Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of the New
Galicia, and of your Possessions and other Territories to any of them belonging or pertaining,
according to their respective laws and customs?

King John XIV: I solemnly promise so to do.

The Archbishop: Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all
your judgments?

King John XIV: I will.

The Archbishop: Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true
profession of the Gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in the New Galicia, the
Roman Catholic Church established by the See of Saint Peter? Will you maintain and preserve
inviolably the settlement of the Roman Catholic Church, and the doctrine, worship, discipline,
and government thereof, as by law established in New Galicia? And will you preserve unto the
Bishops and Clergy of New Galicia with bestowed powers from the Pope as the Vicar of Christ,
and to the Churches there committed to their charge, all such rights, and privileges, as by law do
or shall appertain to them or any of them?

King John XIV: All this I promise to do. The things which I have here before promised, I will
perform and keep. So help me God.

Once the taking of the oath concludes, an ecclesiastic presents a Bible to the sovereign, saying
"Here is Wisdom; This is the royal Law; These are the lively Oracles of God." The Bible used is
a full Revised Standard Version Bible, including the revised Apocrypha. After the Communion
service is interrupted, the anthem Come, Creator Spirit is recited, as a prelude to the act of
anointing. After this anthem, the Archbishop recites a prayer in preparation for the anointing,
which is based on the ancient prayer Deus electorum fortitudo or The strength of the elected by
God also used in the anointing of French kings and other Europeans royalties. After this prayer,
the coronation anthem Galicia for Glory is sung by the choir; meanwhile, the crimson robe is
removed, and the sovereign proceeds to the Coronation Chair for the anointing, which has been
set in a prominent position, wearing the anointing gown. This medieval chair has a cavity in the
base into which the Stone of the Ages is fitted for the ceremony.

Once seated in this chair, a canopy of golden cloth is held over the monarch's head for the
anointing. The duty of acting as canopy-bearers was performed in recent coronations by four
Knights of the Garter. This element of the coronation service is considered sacred and is
concealed from the public gaze with only guests attended to be seen thus it cannot be televised
also for those who watching around the world.

The Dean of Middleburg Cathedral pours the consecrated oil from an eagle-shaped ampulla
into a filigreed spoon with which the Archbishop of Middleburg anoints the sovereign in the
form of a cross on the hands, head, and heart. The Coronation Spoon is the only part of the
medieval Crown Jewels that will be released from the Royal Chambers at the Royal Archives for
coronation purposes only. While performing the anointing, the Archbishop recites a consecratory
formula recalling the anointing of King Solomon by Prophet Nation and Priest Zadok.

After being anointed, the monarch rises from the Coronation Chair and kneels down at a
faldstool placed in front of it. The archbishop then concludes the ceremonies of the anointing by
reciting a prayer that is a modified English translation of the ancient Latin prayer Deus, Dei
Filius, recited in the consecration of other Christian sovereigns. Once this prayer is finished, the
monarch rises and sits again in the Coronation Chair. The Knights of the Garter then bear away
the canopy.

The sovereign is then enrobed in the colobium sindonis or shroud tunic, over which is placed
the supertunica. The Lord Great Chamberlain presents the spurs, which symbolize chivalry. The
Archbishop of Middelburg, assisted by other bishops, then presents the Sword of State to the
sovereign, who places it on the altar. The sovereign is then further robed, this time receiving
bracelets and putting the Robe Royal and Stole Royal on top of the supertunica. The Archbishop
then delivers several Crown Jewels to the sovereign. First, he delivers the Orb, a hollow gold
sphere decorated with precious and semi-precious stones. The Orb is surmounted by a cross,
representing the rule of Jesus over the world and it is returned to the altar immediately after
being received. Next step, the sovereign receives a ring representing his or her "marriage" to the
nation. The Sovereign's Sceptre with Dove, so-called because it is surmounted by a dove
representing the Holy Spirit, and the Sovereign's Sceptre with Cross, which incorporates
Cullinan Diamond, are delivered to the sovereign.

The Archbishop of Middleburg lifts Saint Frederick's Crown named after 45th king Saint
Frederick II the Great (Fictional) from the high altar, sets it back down, and says a prayer: "Oh
God, the crown of the faithful; bless we beseech thee and sanctify this thy servant our
king/queen, and as thou dost this day set a crown of pure gold upon his/her head, so enrich
his/her royal heart with thine abundant grace, and crown him/her with all princely virtues
through the King Eternal Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen". This prayer is the translation of the
ancient formula Deus tuorum Corona fidelium or The crown of Thy faithful.

The Dean of Middleburg picks up the crown and he, the archbishop, and several other high-
ranking bishops proceed to the Coronation Chair where the crown is handed back to the
archbishop, who reverently places it on the monarch's head. At this moment, the king or queen is
crowned, and the guests in the abbey cry in unison three times, “Glory to the Sovereign”. Peers
of the realm and officers of arms put on their coronets, the trumpeters sound a fanfare and church
bells ring out across the kingdom, as gun salutes echo from the Three Towers and Great Valley
Park.

Finally, the archbishop, standing before the monarch, says the crowning formula, which is a
translation of the ancient Latin prayer Coronet te Deus: "God crown you with a crown of glory
and righteousness, that having a right faith and manifold fruit of good works, you may obtain the
crown of an everlasting kingdom by the gift of him whose kingdom endureth for ever." To this
the guests, with heads bowed, say "Amen".

When the prayer is finished, the choir sings an English translation of the traditional Latin
antiphon Confortare: Be strong and of a good courage; keep the commandments of the Lord thy
God, and walk in his ways. During the singing of this antiphon, all stand in their places, and the
monarch remains seated in the Coronation Chair still wearing the crown and holding the
scepters. The recitation of this antiphon is followed by a rite of benediction consisting of several
prayers.

The benediction being concluded, the sovereign rises from the Coronation Chair and is borne
into a throne. Once the monarch is seated on the throne, the formula Stand firm, and holds fast
from henceforth… – a translation of the Latin formula Sta et retina, historically used for the
enthronement of other Christian sovereigns is recited.

After the enthronement proper, the act of homage takes place: the archbishops and bishops
swear their fealty, saying "I, N., Archbishop [Bishop] of N., will be faithful and true, and faith
and truth will bear unto you, our Sovereign Lord [Lady], King [Queen] of this Realm and
Defender of the Faith, and unto your heirs and successors according to law. So help me God."
The peers then proceed to pay their homage, saying "I, N., Duke [Marquess, Earl, Viscount,
Baron or Lord] of N., do become your liege man of life and limb, and of earthly worship; and
faith and truth will I bear unto you, to live and die, against all manner of folks. So help me God.”
The clergy pay homage together, led by the Archbishop of Middleburg. Next, members of the
royal family pay homage individually. The peers are led by the premier peers of their rank: the
dukes by the premier duke, the marquesses by the premier marquess, and so forth.

If there is a queen consort, she is anointed, invested, crowned, and enthroned in a simple
ceremony immediately after homage is paid. The Communion service interrupted earlier is
resumed and completed.

The sovereign then exits the coronation theatre, entering adjacent Saint Frederick's Chapel
(within the Cathedral complex), preceded by the bearers of the Sword of State, the Sword of
Spiritual Justice, the Sword of Temporal Justice, and the blunt Sword of Mercy with the addition
of the Sword of Honor. While the monarch is in Saint Frederick's chapel, the choir recites an
English translation of the hymn of thanksgiving Te Deum laudamus or God, We Praise You.
Saint Frederick's Crown and all the other regalia are laid on the High Altar of the chapel; the
sovereign removes the Robe Royal and Stole Royal, exchanges the crimson surcoat for the
purple surcoat, and is enrobed in the Imperial Robe of purple velvet. He or she then wears the
Imperial State Crown and takes into his or her hands the Sceptre with the Cross and the Orb and
leaves the chapel while all present sing the national anthem.

After the coronation rites, the entourage of the King and Queen consort with the royal family
has to escort him back to the Grand Palace with the cheering the crowds along the way route and
to resume his work duty as the Sovereign with his gesture toast in the Palace Balcony and to give
time to rest as they ended all media interviews and royal tasks. The following day, he would go
to the National Assembly for his first State of the Sovereign Address in a Joint Session of both
Chambers and foreign dignitaries. The Address was live broadcast worldwide and addresses the
national issues and also the diplomacy between the new states and other countries for trade and
communication which was largely praised for his immediate actions and not some flowery
words.

9 months later, Queen Consort was welcoming their first child with King John and it was
revealed few months that the baby’s gender will be a boy, so he named it Luke (Future King
Luke II of New Galicia). Thus, the celebration in the country was seen due to the citizen’s
optimism for their future leader and continue stability as well as the new King’s plan is wanted
to fade memories of the citizens of what happened during the war. It takes years to recovered
emotionally as the King was in the maximum security compound in the Great Royal Prison that
replaced the Old Royal Prison that was established centuries ago and the current prison was
located in the City of Muscovado at the northwest of the Capital. King John forgives his father
and his cronies but they had to pay their crimes in prison for life.
 The former Heir Prince and the incumbent King were grateful to live his life to helping and be
loyal to the country and its constituents. His wife and his own child serve as his motivation and
he wanted more issues or children but he wanted to do that in the foreseeable future. But now he
is now happy and satisfied with what he gains as he thanks the Lord for the blessings.
