Instructions for Google Drive & Classroom
1. Click on the link at the bottom on the page. This link will open the window below, allowing you to
make a copy of the resource and add it to your Google Drive.

2. Click “Make A Copy”. Once you have made a copy you can edit, rearrange, or delete slides.
Please note that the majority of the content on the slides are flattened which means you cannot
change them. You can only change things such as text boxes or other items for student use. You
can also add your own components to any slide for your students.
3. When assigning on Google Classroom, be sure to select “Make a Copy for Each Student”. This
ensures each student can work individually and not alter your original copy.

PLEASE NOTE: Google Slides does not “self check” or grade assignments for
you, like Google Forms. Once your students finish, they will need to click
“Submit” in Google Classroom to turn it in for you to grade. Once they submit,
it will be ”Read-Only” for them until you return it back to them.

Tips & Tricks
Push the digital version out to students
in Google Classroom (make sure they
each have their own copy so they are
not editing the same set) → Directions
on previous page.
For distance learning, give
options-push the digital version out to
students who have access. For ones
that don’t, print out and and leave
copies of the paper version or you can
send this file (delete these directions
and answer keys) and email it would to
your students.
Transparent Fill: To fill in your
spaces with transparent paint,
follow the steps below!

STEP 1: click the paint bucket

above

STEP 2: Click the + under custom

STEP 3: Pick your color and drag

the transparency slider to the left.

STEP 4: Once you do this one

time, the transparent color will
stay under custom for you to use
again and again!
