Summary
Every industry is going through a digitalization process nowadays; the healthcare industry is not
an exception. Digital technologies help the healthcare industry increase their claims efficiency,
lower cost, centralize medical records, provide patients with customized treatment plans, and
improve the patient experience. Digitalization can benefit healthcare providers, patients, and
insurance companies as well. Patients can track their medical treatment records to understand
better and monitor their health; healthcare providers can also access patients’ records to provide
their patients with a more accurate solution and follow-up.
Healthcare providers now can use telemedicine technologies to help patients in rural areas. When
patients’ glucose level reaches a critical level, providers will be alerted. Ai technology can
integrate with real-time data technology to save lives around the clock.
On the flip side, the input data is critical to determine the quality of the solution. Therefore,
healthcare organizations must ensure that input data quality will be their priority during the data
transformation. Moreover, the healthcare industry shall maintain patients’ data confidentiality
and privacy during the process.

Reaction
Healthcare is one of the essential elements in our day-to-day lives. Commonly, people
experience inadequate communication with doctors, increasing costs, and confusing treatment
processes. The digitalization process starts with digitized operations input; healthcare providers
transform from paper-based forms to paperless input. The paperless process could help
healthcare providers to reduce time-consuming paperwork and errors. By enabling artificial
intelligence, organizations can streamline workflow and make better and faster decisions on
diagnosing patients. Then, the healthcare providers can share knowledge and receive feed from
patients. Patients can easily access their diagnose and biometric results via the internet or a
phone app. Speech recognition technology can improve documentation accuracy and efficiency.
With the fast 5G network, a doctor has performed surgery on an animal’s liver from miles away.
The World Health Organization forecasts the worldwide doctors’ deficit will reach 12.9 million
by 2035; telemedicine and remote surgery can improve this condition in lower-income
communities. Healthcare automation and digitalization are critical to ensure everyone can have
affordable and quality healthcare.
