POOL CARE CHEAT SHEET

Circulation

Empty Skimmer Baskets Run The Filter & Pump Monitor Filter Pressure
Keep the skimmer and pump basket(s) clear. Run the system for 8-12 hours a day. Filter pressure is usually 10-20 PSI.
This improves water flow to the filter system. The longer the better. Backwash (or clean) when it’s up 10 PSI.

Cleaning

Skim with the flow of the water in a circular motion. and keeps the floor of the pool clean. Brush toward the floor.
Invest in an automatic pool cleaner to
make this process easy and efficient.

3. Add Sanitizer Weekly
Add the proper amount of sanitizer needed to achieve the ideal level.
1. Test The Water Weekly
Using test strips or a liquid test kit to test the water.
Check for pH, Alkalinity, and sanitizer levels.

First, adjust alkalinity with alkalinity increaser (baking soda). Alkalinity
