AGRARIAN LAW AND SOCIAL LEGISLATION

Assignment for Thursday (5:30pm-7:30pm & 7:30pm-9:30pm) and Saturday (1-3pm; 3-

5pm & 6-8pm) Classes:

1. Digest all the cases referred to in Chapter 4 of the outline, subject to the following:

a) Limit the facts, issues and ruling relative to agrarian reform.

b) If a case is cited in other topics, there shall also be a digest of the same case, but
the issues and ruling shall be limited to such other topics.
c) Label each case with the topic or section as indicated in the outline, case title,
case number, date of promulgation, and state if decided by division or en banc:

d) Digest shall be in student’s own handwriting.

e) Use yellow paper and on one side only.
f) Use blue or black inks only.
g) Observe margins of 1 inch on left, right, top and bottom portions.
h) If two or more sheets are used to digest a case, staple them so that they can be
easily considered to be a digest of only one case.
i) There shall be a cover page, with student name and number, of the topics and
digested cases in the order as stated in the outline.
j) The cover page and digested cases shall be clamped together and organized in
the order as stated in the outline, to be inserted in long document/expanding
envelope, with student name and number.
k) The envelope with digested cases shall be submitted to the class beadle not later
than April 20, 2020.
l) The class beadle shall prepare a list of the students who submitted the required
digested cases with the date of submission.
m) The class beadle shall submit to the professor the required list and envelopes
with digested cases not later than April 23, 2020.

2. Identify at least 10 questions (with correct answers) that have already been asked in
previous Bar examinations pertaining to Agrarian Law and Social Legislation, and
also indicate the year of examination.

This shall also be in the student’s own handwriting, on yellow paper with proper
margins, with student name and number, and for submission together with the
digested cases as stated above. The class beadle shall also indicate in the list
mentioned in paragraph 1, subparagraph (l) above those students who complied,
with date of submission, with the submission of the requirements on previously
asked Bar questions with correct answers.
