The most selling products among the customers of the retail establishment
are products like chips, chocolates and frozen foods which have a greater
shelf life than fresh foods.

Mostly products which are sold less are placed next to the cash register. A
few of them are chewing gums and energy drinks. Any product which is

Since it is a small outlet, they have only 4 people arranging the shelves, 2
people at the cash counter and one security guard. They work for a fixed
time period for the day. They do not offer training to the staff. The most
important advice they give is to be polite with their customers.
6. Do you have any product placements that you are paid for by the
supplier/wholesaler? Or does the store manager/personnel decide how and
what products are stocked on the shelves?
No, the products are lined up on the shelves as directed by the manager and no
payments are received from the suppliers for any kind of product placements.
7. How many vendors do you deal with? Do you have any credit terms with
your vendors?
