What is a Dictionary?

A dictionary contains a list of words in alphabetical order, together with their

definitions, pronunciations, etymologies or spellings.

ACTIVITY 1

DICTIONARY SKILLS

Directions: Chose the correct definition of the underlined word in each item. Write
your answers on your answer sheets.
