Firestop Unicollar

APPLICATION
Firestop unicollar is used to protect plastic pipes which pass through fire rated
walls and floors. It is designed to protect uPVC, HDPE, PP, and other plastic
pipes passing through fire rated materials in a building. The system is supplied in
continuous strip form to cut to length according to need (one-size fits all). The
system will block off openings formed off plastic burns in the event of fire and
leave impenetrable barrier to maintain the compartment.

Firestop unicollar has been successfully tested on various pipes from a variety of
suppliers with a fire rating up to four (4) hours, in accordance to BS 476: Part 20,
AS 1530: Part 4, and prEN 1366: Part 3: 1993. By using the continuous strip
system, the variation in the pipes diameter has been overcome.
