Brigada Eskwela has been of great help to DepEd in the maintenance of the

school facilities and amenities. Likewise, this program made the stakeholders realize
that developing a conducive learning environment does not only lie in the shoulders of
DepEd but also in the hands of the entire community.

This year, PCWHS stakeholders have given their assistance in various ways.
This part will show the kind of help the community has rendered to the school.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE WORKS

A. Building components

Carpentry works

Fix the Window. (Left) Mrs. Elizabeth Villanueva was helped by a utility man in repairing
the window. (Right) Two volunteers repaired the window pane.

Electrical Works

Check the lights and wire. (Left) A utility person put a florescent lamp in its ballast. (Right) Two
volunteers checked the cables in the computer laboratory.
Painting Works

Put on Some Colors. Some teachers (above), utility workers (first two below) and some volunteers
(rightmost, below) did some painting in the school.
B. Classroom Components

Carpentry Works

Unstable Chairs. (Above)These chairs badly need some repair.

Hammer It! (Above) Teachers and utility men (below) repaired the chairs.
More Repairs. Cabinets and shelves were also given a new touch and look.
Painting of School Furnitures

A True Public Servant. Mayor Antonino Calixto painted a number of chairs.


All for the School. Teachers from various departments painted the chairs.
All for the Learners. A number of volunteers did the same painting.
C. Beautification

Landscaping

Toil the Soil. Senior High School teachers did some landscaping in front of building B.
Gardening

Tend the Garden. SHS teachers prove that they have green thumb.
Cleaning Works

Spic-and-Span. The parents cleaned the classrooms and hallways.

Germ Free. (Above) Canteen Staff cleaned the dining area while the Girl Scouts (below) tidied the
comfort rooms.
Mess Free. The teachers used the 4S to give their faculty room a fresh new look.
Make It Conducive. Mrs. Celia L. SIngcol (left) and Mrs. Jenelyn E. Bareng prepared the SPFL room.

Safe and Sound for Students. (Left) Mrs. Nida D. Raagas made sure that the guidance office is dust
free. (Right) Mrs. Filipina De Guzman arranged the bed and other things in the school clinic.
Others

Free Food and Drinks for Everyone. Some stakeholders distributed foods and drinks to every volunteer.
An Act of Charity. A number of donors took time out for a photo opportunity.
For Everyone. Various donations for school use.
Bloodletting. Red Cross facilitated the bloodletting activity.
Know Your Rights. Atty. Christine Ching shared her legal knowledge to a number of teachers.
